Fawn's POV
"Whoa." I said quietly as I surveyed my surroundings. The Nether Market was obviously a very crowded place. Wither skeletons joustled around each other to reach their designated point of destination. Ghasts dotted the sky, some disappearing out of existence with a snap of my fingers. I stared in amazement as I saw blazes argue with skeletons running booths, trying to bargain for a better deal.
"Heh, never knew this existed." a voice said behind me. I turned around and saw the rest of the group, staring in wonder of the market. "It's like a whole new dimension."
"Yeah, well, welcome to the Nether Market!" Leo said cheerfully. "As you can see, most people that visit here are from the Nether such as Wither Skeletons such as myself, ghasts, blazes, sometimes Magma Cubes, and occasionally, the stray sorcerer."
"I just have one question." Cara said. "When you receive blaze rods and wither skulls, do you actually kill the mob?"
Leo laughed uncertainly. "Why would you say that?"
"Well, you know, there are so many people selling those objects you know." Cara said, gesturing to a stand nearby, where a blaze was selling a few wither skulls.
"Oh, we have this contract when mobs can venture further than the city border." Leo explained. "When they sign that, they have the choice to allow their remains or goods to be sold. A bit twisted in my opinion, but most people do that. In the Nether, most graves only last 4-5 days before crumpling into ash."
"So, you're basically trying to put things to use?" Daisy confirmed.
"Well, yes." Leo agreed. "In the Nether, we don't get a chance to meet with many outsiders. Only a few wither skeletons that score at least a 90% or higher in the Physicals and at least a 98% of the Knowledge test can become raiders, who go to the Overworld and find more goods that aren't available in the Nether region."
"Hey, you sound pretty smart though." I said. "Wouldn't you qualify for a raider?"
"Well, I was the only one with a 100% on both test." Leo said smugly. "That's why I'm the king's royal adviser."
"Whoa." Daisy, Kai, Cara, and Sparrow said together. Meanwhile, I watched the group, momentarily amazed.
"It's not that big of a deal." I snorted.
"Are you jealous Fawn?" Angel said, snickering.
"No!" I said loudly. "Not at all!"
"Fawn is jealous, Fawn is jealous!" Angel said over and over again. "Ha!"
"Shut up." I said.
"Hey, can we actually explore?" I said out loud. "We didn't come here to gawk at your title."
"Oh yes." he said, mildly embarrassed. "You can look around with me, but I think you'll be fine on your on Fawn. With Angel." he said, gesturing to the massive dragon towering above me.
"Yeah, I don't think so." I said. I handed him a firework launcher. "Launch this if your in trouble."
"Umm, why are you handing Leonard a firework launcher?" Sparrow asked.
"Well, look at this place." I said. A Wither Skeleton was busy yelling at a blaze, who was yelling back. A bit of blood speckled the Wither Skeleton's head, and if a wither skeleton's eyes could look bloodshot, they sure looked like it.
"Well, so long Fawn." Leo said uncertainly.
"And same to you." I said.
