Avrin felt a bit nervous at Abbadon's perceptive words, but as he was about to say something to note it, the headmaster gave a nervous laugh and spoke. "Lord Abbadon, this boy here is Herth. He is very special to humanity. He has an Enigma ability that allows some control of gravitational force! Gaia Academy, as well as the Empire, have shown interest. No doubt this boy's future is limitless."
Avrin was on edge, but it wasn't as if he couldn't escape. He was certain his Void Step was quick enough to get him out of here if he managed to catch Abbadon off guard with a Phantom Pulse. That is if the Phantom Pulse was strong enough to affect him.
"Enigma ability with gravity properties?!" Even Abbadon was shocked. "Ah, now is not the time." He eyed Avrin even carefully than the other two and began to question them with no mercy.
"Allowing children to train in this chasm was a mistake on my behalf. I was to lenient and felt that no one could free that man, but I was wrong. What's done is done, and now it needs to be fixed. From today onwards, the Dark Abyss Chasm is to be sealed from all outsiders."
At the mention of these words, the group of Grandmasters felt their hearts drop. Another reason they accepted such a guard role was because the materials of the creatures here could be beneficial in improving the quality of some magical spells or even increase one's physical strength when given to an alchemist.
The headmaster's face paled a little before he reluctantly agreed. "Y..Yes, Lord Abbadon..." Abbadon nodded and continued. "You there, the boy with the strange hair. Explain to me what you've done here."
Of course, the one he was referring to was Lazgen, who didn't dare talk back. He knew this man was the strongest Sigil wielder and lord of the angels. "My Lord...." Lazgen spoke before he began to explain everything, including the skirmish with Wynfa and how Avrin stopped them.
Avrin, of course, showed a clueless expression with one of a bit of worry. He didn't want to seem too carefree in front of someone who no doubt would even make the king nervous and respectful. "-He is going to question the three of us and look for inconsistencies.
It's a method that requires plenty of time and patience. Especially with the amount of time we have spent here. I guess Abbadon truly despises Azrael. Regardless, such a method won't work on me-"
Nearly six hours were spent for Lazgen and Wynfa to tell him everything in detail. Of course, everyone present had tough bodies and no one seemed phased at all. Abbadon remained calm and gave a piercing look, as if he was trying to make them speak some hidden truth.
He then turned to look at Avrin and said, "Tell me what you've done while you've been here. If you leave out any details, I'll know immediately." Avrin nodded and continued to speak. "Lord Abbadon, just like the other two have said, they engaged in a skirmish the moment the headmaster left us, and I didn't want to cause any trouble for myself by explaining why they were fighting, so I decided to stop them.
