IMPORTANT

Two pieces of news today. the first for 2 and a half years i have been writing this story and have gone through many prs but not have been with my as long as Draconis/Skyler He has notified me that he won't be able to PR spectral regalia anymore as he has real life obligations that keep him busy. I am very very grateful for all the hard work he has put into this story he has been a hard-working life saver I hope you can all give him some thanks in the form of comments below or likes to his account!

So I see that Spectral Regalia's popularity has been dropping greatly over time and this really hurts. I have no one to blame but myself. That being said I have been looking for ways to rekindle interest in the story and its characters while keeping a balance. I have decided I'm going to take a Hiatus from writing this story for an unspecified amount of time just to get me in the mood and work on the adaption script, this does not mean I'm not stopping the novel. In fact, maybe the adaption will strike the hearts of many and force me to rework all the previous novel chapters which I'm worried about touching.

That being said feel free to come chat in the discord Discord or follow me on Twitter I will be active every day or as much as I can. :)

P.S i changed plans somewhat v8 will be at 185 as I would like to round it off for whoever noticed.

Giving Kael a careful glance, Avrin nodded. "One of the reasons I'm here is to meet the champions. I hope they won't disappointment me." Upon hearing Avrin's words, Kael laughed as he led Avrin through a long hall with a few turns while speaking to him.

"Master, what do you plan to do with the victors? Will you put them through an extreme training regimen or perhaps send them on an important mission? They are the creme of the crop I suppose, but us purebloods deserve some treatment as well..." Kael grew somewhat worried as his mind conjured dozens of dangerous scenarios that would be too dangerous even for him alone.

"While it could be considered a mission, it could also be considered training for the future. But don't worry. I am currently only focusing on developing the foundations of Shaded Moon. It won't be the most heroic of tasks, but this project can become the starting point for the future growth of Spectrals." Seeing Kael worrying about the special treatment the tournament candidates were receiving, Avrin tried to reassure Kael. Afterall, he wasn't leading them into a full blown war.

"Where I come from, there is an old saying: 'We are all just cogs in a great machine.' This can be interpreted in many ways, but depending on one's perspective, one can say that even the smallest of cogs have a purpose. However, if too many are out of sync, then the machine will eventually break down. However I believe that with some guidance, the Spectrals can realize their greatest potentials and dreams."

Mulling over Avrin's words, Kael responded. "Master, that may be true for some cases, but what happens if someone becomes too powerful or...uh, becomes too big of a cog and won't fit in this machine. There won't ever be an obstacle they can't overcome, right?"

This was the first time Avrin was somewhat stunned at Kael's words. That way of thinking was indeed true, and deep in his heart, he knew there were individuals who could shake a universe with their might alone. Recalling the incidents with Orphelium and the creature lurking in the Spectral Domain, he could certainly testify to their overwhelming might.
