Jen's POV:
Sara wakes up at around 8 am and we all get ready to go back to Chloe's office so Lana can sign the papers and make it official. We haven't said one word to her about the truth about me, and honestly I'm debating on whether or not I should. We get in the car and drive to the office, all three of us excited and anxious to get back home. We find a parking spot, get out of the car, and head into the lobby, Chloe, already waiting for us. She smiles as she greets us. "Are you guys ready?" She asks and Sara nods, Lana and I giggling at her reaction. We walk into her office and sit down. She hands Lana a few pieces of paper explaining everything she's agreeing to. She signs them, the smiles on our faces not fading one bit. Lana hands the papers back to Chloe, who reviews them to make sure everything is in place.Lana's POV:
I hand the papers back to Chloe and I look over at Jen and Sara with a huge smile. They're eyes sparkle, and that's when I realize how much alike they look. Same face shape and eyes, same beautiful wavy hair. Olivia flips through the papers and she looks back up at us with a happy smile. "Congratulations, you are now the mothers of Sara." and I look at Jen who smiles and has tears in her eyes. I can barely see her through my own tears of happines and we hug Sara who is sitting between the two of us. "Congratulations, I hope you all have a safe trip back home." Chloe says standing up to open the door. We walk out happily, as a family, a family I could never have imagined, but the beginnings for the best family ever. We go back to Jen's mom's house and we pack our things and get ready to head back home. It's been a long last few days, but they have been incredible, I can't wait to see what this new adventure has in store for us.Jen's POV:
We say our goodbyes to my family, who I have just recently grown to love. Even though we had to come together for such a horrible reason, I'm so glad it happened the way it did. I'm so greatful for them to be okay with who I really am, to be okay with who I love. And with in days, our family has grown. I pick up Ava and carry her to the car, Lana and Sara following close behind. We get in the car, and drive the 3 hours it takes for us to drive to Chicago to catch a flight home. Lana is driving, and Ava is in the backseat curled up with Sara who had fallen asleep. My knees are pulled up to my chest and a blanket is wrapped around me. I can't help but stare at Lana. She's so beautiful and I can't wait to marry her. When she catches me staring at her she smiles and I blush. "How are we going to explain this to everyone?" I ask, the thoughts pouring off my tongue. "Tell them the truth, that's all we can do." She says and I sigh. I hear Sara move around in the back and look over my shoulder to see her awake. "Hey sleepy head." I say playfully. "Hi." She says groggily and I can't help but laugh because its so cute. "So, Sara, do you know anything about your birth parents?" Lana asks and I whip my head around and glare at her and as I did, I saw Sara give me a funny look before she answered Lana's question. "All I know is that my birth mother was going through a tough time and couldn't take care of a baby because she had no money and wanted to perdue her career." She says and yawns. Lana looks at me, and I give her a "don't you dare look." Lana smirks before she asks her another question. "And do you know what career that was?" "Acting, I believe." She says and Lana smirks at me again. "Okay, what is going on?" Sara asks. Lana turns to look at her for a brief second. "What actress do people think you look like?" Lana asks. "Um... Most people actually believe I look like you Jen." She answers. I feel my heart pounding now, afraid of what's to come. "And Jen is a what?" Lana asks Sara. "An Ac- wait... Jen? Are you implying that Jennifer Morrison, my biggest idol, is my mother?" She asks Lana in shock. I can see Sara thinking, and that's when she continues. "That's why you were the only one who signed the papers, am I right?" She asks looking at me, now a bit angered. I bite my lip and nod. "Damn it! Do you have any idea the hell you put me through?" Sara asked angirly. I can't hold back the tears. "I'm sorry, I had to do what's best for you." I say, trying to control the sobs. "What's best for me? You had to do what's best for me?! You are the most selfish person I've ever met! Giving up their own child to perdue their career?! What the hell!" She yells, and I sob harder. I hear the door handle and the wind from outside try and push the door closed. "Lana stop!" I yell and at that moment, I see Sara, leap out of the car onto the side of the highway, luckily landing in a soft patch of grass. "Lana!" I yell again and she finally realizes what's going on and we pull off the highway, and get out of the car. I see Sara run into the woods and I yell, running after her. "Sara! Please! I'm sorry!" I yell, but it doesn't help, she's gone into the forest, and now we have to go looking for her.
