Jen's POV:
A week has passed since the doctors had taken me out of the coma. I was already feeling much better and yesterday the doctors said that both Ella and I were healthy enough to go home. I was excited to go home especially after almost three weeks of being in the same hospital bed. I was beginning to get restless, but luckily, I had my family and friends around to keep me company. Lana was laying in my bed with me as we both held Ella, both of us looking down and smiling at the sleeping baby in our arms when the doctor came in. "Are you guys ready to go home?" He asked and I looked up at him with a smile and nodded. "Let me look over you one last time and then I'll get your papers to release you." He said and Lana got off the bed and took Ella so the doctor could do one last quick examination of my legs which were both healing quickly but I would still need a wheel chair in order to get around for at least another month. The doctor examined me and smiled. "Well Ms. Morrison, this is it, I'll be back in a few minutes with those papers." He said. "Thank you." I replied with a genuine smile. He left the room and Lana put Ellie in the car seat she bought for her the other day. Since I still couldn't move, Lana gathered up everything that was in the room, balloons, cards, clothes, anything, she grabbed and went downstairs to put in the car.

Lana's POV:
I took some things down to our car while the doctor got the papers to release Jen from the hospital. The last several months have been a crazy roller coaster and I'm so greatful that its all slowly coming close to an end. I'm so greatful that everyone survived the car accident, especially Jen and Ella. I don't know what o would have done if I had lost Jen. She means the world to me and I never want to lose her.

I'm really excited to go home. Ginny, Josh, Sara andOlivia have all panned a surprise welcome home party for her and Ella. The party would be the start of a new beginnung, a new beginning as a family and I couldn't wait for that. Even though Jen and Olivia didn't exactly get along with each other before the accident, now they are slowly becoming friends again. At first I was a bit apprehensive about it, but I know that Jen would never cheat on me with her and I let what I knew about their past together go, and since then, even I have learned to become friends with Olivia. In fact, I'm beginning to see why Jen liked her so much, she's caring, kind, helpful, but also tons of fun to be around but don't worry, Jen is still my one and only and always will be.

I walk back to the hospital from the car and take the elevator up to the floor Jen is on. From there, I walk to her room to see her sitting in a wheel chair looking up at me with a smile. I walk over to her and lean down to kiss her and she kisses me back passionately. When we pull away, we can't tear our eyes away from each other until we hear a voice coming from the door way. "Are you two just going to stand there or are we all going home together?" She says. Jen and both look in the direction of the voice and we both smile when we see Sara, with a huge smile on her face. Jen and I giggle for a second, before I walk over to the car seat, which Ella is now sleeping in and pick it up. I carry it over to Sara and hand it to her. "Why don't you take your sister, I have to push your mom." I say and Sara's face lights up as she takes the carring handle for the car seat. I walk back over to Jen, kiss her one more time, and then get behind her to push her out of this horrible place.

Jen's POV:
After Lana gets Ella's car seat strapped in the back seat, she opens the passenger door and she and Sara lift me into the car. I'm actually surprised that they were both able to pick me up and put me in the car without anyone else to help them. I knew I lost a lot of weight from not eating for a week and a half, but I didn't think it was that much. Our drive home was silent, but it was a good silence not an awkward one, and so I just enjoyed the quiet moment with my family.

When we arrive back home I smile and sigh, its so great to be back home I thought. Lana parks the car and opens the trunk and takes out a set of crutches. "Sara, take Ella in please while I help your mom." Lana says as she opens the front passenger door. I unbuckle and turn so my legs are now dangling out the door. Lana helps me up and we make our way towards the front door with Sara and Ella following us. Lana unlocks and opens the door and let's me inside first. The second I get inside, I take in a deep breath, finally happy to be home again. But it doesn't last long. Immediately After, I see everyone from work and even Lana and I's family and they all pop out of no where yelling "surprise!" And I almost fell over backwards but luckily Lana was there to catch me even though she was laughing her ass off. I give her a playful glare and everyone laughs. Lana leads me over to the couch so o can sit down and talk to everyone. Sara takes Ella out of her car seat and brings her over to me. I take her into my arms and smile at my daughter. Everyone awes at us and I can feel my cheeks burn a bit. Then Lana comes over and sits next to me, also admiring Ella. "Everyone, meet our newest member of our family, baby Ella." I finally say looking up at everyone. I'm actually surprised that my mom and sister came but that was when I realized things were different between us. I smiled at them and they walked up to us, as did Lana's mom and sister. "I'm surprised to see you here." I say to my mom and Julia. They smile at me. "We realized that even though you aren't who we wanted you to be, we still love you and we love this little family you have." My mom says. "Oh come on mom, you know you just really wanted to see your newest grand daughter." Julia says and slaps her arm playfully. "That too." My mom says with a light laugh. "Well here she is." I say holding Ella up for my mom to hold. She smiles at me before taking Ella into her arms. She smiles down at Ella then smiles at me. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me, but I'm here now, and I won't ever let the person you love affect our relationship again." She says and those words, words I've been wanting to heat for years caused a few tears to slip onto my cheeks and I couldn't help but smile. I looked over at Lana, who was smiling at me, and the next thing I knew, her lips were on mine and we kissed each other lovingly. I finally felt that, for the first time in a long time, my family was finally beginning to feel like a real family, and it was one of the best feelings in the world.
