Something More || A Morrilla Story

Part 22

Lana's POV:
We pull into the driveway and park the car before we get out. We've only been gone for a couple of hours, so Sara probably isn't home yet. We walk in and a Lola and Ava greet us happily with wagging tails. We set our things down before we go over to the couch and turn on Netflix. Jen has the remote and begins looking through all the different shows and movies until she finds Swingtown. "Hmmm... I didn't know this was on here!" She laughs with a smirk and I groan playfully as she presses the play button. I don't care for my role as Trina in this show very much but I know Jen only likes it because I'm wearing a bikini most of the time. I know its been a rough last couple of weeks for her so I let her watch it and I get up to make one of our favorite things, hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon, something that the both of us picked up from the show. I handed her a cup and she smiled at me and thanked me. I sat down next to her and her eyes lit up, which kind of made me a bit concerned. She stuck her finger into the whipped cream floating on top of the hot chocolate and smeared it on my face. "Hey what was that for?" I ask laughing. "It looks better on you." She says before leaning close to me and licking it off. "And it tastes better too." She adds with a laugh. I laugh at her too. "Your such a dork!" I say and I take her hot chocolate and put it on the table along with mine before I start tickling her. I'm on top of her and we are both laughing and squealing like a couple of twelve year olds. Just then we hear the door open and Sara walks in. The expression on her face is priceless. Her eyes are wide and her mouth is open while her cheeks are bright red with embarrassment. I sit up and get off of Jen so she can sit up too."Oh, uh sorry." Sara says and that's when we notice Meghan standing behind her trying so hard to keep from laughing. "Its okay dear, we were just having a little fun." I say. "Did you guys have a fun time at the movies?" Jen asked smiling at Meghan and Sara. "Oh... Uh yeah! It was fun. Oh can Meghan stay for dinner?" Sara asked and I looked at Jen who nodded. "Why not. Josh and Ginny will be coming over later with their kids for dinner too." I answer. "So Jen, how'd the testing go?" Sara asked Jen. Jen looked at me and kept a straight face. She looked back to Sara. "We will tell you later." She said not smiling but not frowning either. "Okay." Sara said before the two girls went upstairs to Sara's room. "Damn, that was good!" I laughed. "I want to tell everyone at the same time." Jen said with a smile and I smiled back.

Jen's POV:
After watching a couple episodes of Swingtown, Lana and I start preparing for the Dallas family to arrive. Lana makes a delicious looking dinner consisting of a ceasar salad, homemade pepperoni pizza, a chocolate cake and wine. I'm setting the table when I hear the doorbell ring. "Sara, Meghan come down please!" I hear Lana yell as I go open the door. I hear the girls come down the stairs and I feel Lana's hand on my shoulder. "Hi guys!" Ginny says with her normal chipper smile carrying her now 6 month old baby Zach in her arms while Josh is holding Oliver. "Hi guys, come in!" I say with a smile and they walk in. "Hi Meghan, I didn't know you were going to be here." Josh said with a smile. "Well here I am." Meghan said with a giggle. We all sat down in the living room and talked for a while, while Lana finished up dinner. "So Sara, how are you liking Canada?" Ginny asked Sara. "I love it! Its so beautiful up here. I never thought in a million years I would call this place my home." She said with a smile. "She starts school with Jared on set on Monday." I added. "That will be awesome! Have Adam and Eddie given you a job yet?" Josh asked jokingly. "I wish! I've dreamt of being on the show for years, but I knew it would probably never happen." She said. "You also thought you'd never meet me, and look where you are now." I say with a smile. "That's true!" Lana says carrying out the last part of the meal to the dining table. We all get up and sit at the table while Lana pours everyone a glass of wine. Lana pours me a glass and I can see Sara watching me and her smile falls a bit when she realizes that I'm probably not pregnant. Oliver is in the other room watching Seseame Street and Zach is sleeping in his car seat while we eat. The entire meal was pleasant. We talked a lot about work and the pranks we are constantly pulling on each other. "My favorite prank was when Emilie and I were so bored that we pretended that we got in a huge fight and we were quitting our jobs because we couldn't stand to work with eachother." She says with a laugh. "I fell for it so bad, that I tried so hard to help you guys make up because I didn't want you to leave." I add. "But then you got us back by hiding behind the counter in Mr. Gold's shop while we were filming and scared the shit out of me!" Lana said with a laugh. "You screamed so loud you lost your voice and couldn't talk for a day!" I said dying of laughter from the memory.

Once everyone was done with dinner, Lana went back to the kitchen and brought out the beautiful chocolate cake. We all awed at the sight and smell of the delicious chocolate. "Oh my gosh it looks amazing!" Meghan said. "I hope you like it." Lana said with a smile as she set it on the table. "Now, before we cut the cake, Jen and I have an announcement to make." Lana said looking at me with a smile.I stood up and walks dover next to her and grabbed her hand. Everyone smiled at us waiting to hear the news. "As you guys know, I was raped 5 days ago... I went to the hospital today so they could run some tests and I'm pregnant." I said beaming. "Congratulations!" Ginny said excitedly. "At first, I was upset and angry about it, but then I realized how much I wanted my family to grow." I said looking at Lana. "So when's the wedding?" Meghan asked. I laugh, "we haven't even talked about it yet!" I say and everyone laughs before we cut the cake and devour it all and finishing off the night with a fun game of heads up. I am SK happy to have all these people in my life. I'm happy I finally told Lana that I had feelings for her, I'm so glad I had found my daughter, and I'm so greatful to have all my friends with me to get me through this. I knew that they were the only reasons why I am able to get through the bad times, and for that, I will always be greatful, they have all, in some way or another become my family, become our family.
