Something More || A Morrilla Story

Part 31

Jen's POV:
"Ms.Morrison, Ms.Parrilla, you are having a baby boy!" The doctor said excitedly. Sara squealed in excitement as Lana looked up at me and squeezed my hand, both of our eyes full of tears, happy tears. "Congratulations!" The doctor said. Lana and I smiled at each other for a minute, before returning our attention to the machine. The doctor was now taking pictures with the transducer. Sara was happy, she was going to have a little brother. A few more minutes, and the doctor handed me a tissue to wipe the gel off my stomach. "I'll be back in a few with those pictures." The doctor said. I nodded and she left. "A boy! I can't believe it!" I say with a smile looking up into Lana's chocolate brown eyes. Lana places her hand on my baby bump and looks down at it before looking at me again and leaning in to kiss me. I was over joyed about having a boy although earlier this morning, I was wanting a girl, but I'm okay with a boy too. After a few minutes the doctor returns and I sit up on the bed. "Congrats again, we will see you in a few months for a check up." She said with a smile as she handed me the pictures. I respond with a simple "thanks" and we leave the room and head towards the front door.

Lana's POV:
I'm really excited for Jen having a boy, it will be nice not to have 4 girls in one family, but if she did have a girl I would have been just as happy. We walk out the front door and to our car. "Why don't I take a picture of you two together to remember the moment." Sara says. Jen smiles and takes her phone out of her pocket and handed it to Sara. I stood behind Jen and grabbed her hands before I placed them on her belly, my hands resting on top of hers. She turned her head to see me. She had the biggest smile on her face and I couldn't help but attach my lips to hers. I could feel her smile into the kiss. "Awe! That's so cute!" Sara said looking at the picture before handing the phone back to Jen. "Absolutely perfect." Jen says and she shows me the picture. It really was a perfect moment captured in one beautiful picture. I kiss Jen again before the three of us get in the car to drive home. While we were driving, I could see Jen typing up something out of the corner of my eye. After a minute, I heard my phone ping with a notification, and I knew exactly who it was from. I check my phone when we get to the next red light and I can't help but smile. She posted the picture on twitter and Instagram with the caption "my beautiful wife and I found out that its a boy! I am so excited to raise a baby with the woman I love❤". I smile at her once I'm done reading the caption and she smiles back. I quickly like and repost the picture and caption on Instagram and retweet it on twitter. By this time, the light turns green and I put my phone down to drive the rest of the way home.

Jen's POV:
Within minutes, my phone was blowing up like crazy. Everyone from the cast had retweeted my post and congratulated us. The fans were going crazy as well, already commenting name suggestions on Instagram, of course the most popular was Henry. I smile at my phone, and lock it, and by the time I look up we are already home. We walk inside and Ava greets us happily. I will admit, it is a little weird not having Lola greet us by the door with Ava and it hurts Lana and I every time we think about it. Not more than two seconds after I put my things down on the counter, my phone starts ringing. I answer it and hear screaming on the other end, immediately recognizing that it's Ginny. I put the phone on speaker and set it down on the counter so Sara and Lana can talk to her too. "Hey Ginny!" I say happily. "Oh NY gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh you're having a boy!!" She yells with excitement. I laugh " yes I'm having a boy." I say. "Hey Ginny!" Lana says as she comes up behind me. "Oh my gosh! Lana! Congratulations! I'm so happy for the both of you!" Ginny says happily. "Thank you." Lana responded before kissing my neck. "What about Sara?" Ginny asks. "I'm so excited!" Sara answers excitedly. "Yup, she gets a little brother!" I say. "Why don't we a celebrate tonight? We will invite everyone from the show and it will be one big baby shower." Lana says happily as she looks at me. "Yay a party! You know josh and I can't refuse a good party! Count us in!" She says over the phone. "Great! Feel free to bring some food along, there's no way I'll be cooking for 20 people tonight." Lana says with a giggle. "Will do! See you guys tonight." She says before hanging up the phone. For the next hour, we are calling up everyone from the show and inviting them to our last minute party. By the time we are done, everyone had said yes to coming, so that means 15 cast members were coming and some of them bringing their families. It was going to be one huge party, and one long night, but it would be a fun night to celebrate.

Lana made a trip to the party store to pick up some supplies for the party while I called a friend who made cakes to see if she could get one done by the time the party started, and luckily she said she could. Lana came home 20 minutes later with all the supplies. She had balloons, streamers, and even a banner that said "its a boy" on it. The three of us decorated the place the best we could as fast as we could because time was going by fast. We through up some decorations in the back yard, knowing that's where most of the party would take place anyways. We set up some foldig tables and chairs in the grass, but some have cloths over them, and by then, we heard a knock on the
door. Lana and I went together to greet our first guests, already knowing who it was. We opened the door, and as I guessed, it was Josh and Ginny with Oliver and Zach. "Hi!" Ginny said happily. "Hey guys! Come on in!" I say opening the door for them. Sara comes down the stairs right as they come in and Oliver runs to her happily. Sara was their babysitter and Oliver just loved Sara. "Hey bud!" She said hugging him. "She's going to be one great big sister." Josh said with a smile. Lana and I watched the two of them interact with each other, and it was adorable. She really was going to make a great big sister. Ginny ran back to her car to get the food she had brought and when she came back she also had a gift in her arms. "You didn't have to get me anything." I say. "Then don't think of it as a gift for you, think of it as a gift for your baby." She says with a smile and I accept the gift. After another 10 minutes, everyone started to arrive, each one bringing some kind of food or drink to share as well as a gift for the baby. Everyone made their way to the back yard where we talked about just about everything. The cake soon arrived and Lana carried it out to the back yard and set it on the table. Everyone was having such a great time. We hadn't really had a party like this since the 100th episode party so it was fun to be able to be around the people that are in my life the most. While everyone was eating, Eddie stood up on a chair. "Can I have everyone's attention please?" He asked and everyone stopped talking and looked up at Eddie. "We are here to congratulate Jen and Lana for their baby boy!" He says and gestures towards Lana and I. Everyone claps and I can't help but blush, I've never liked attention being directed at me. "We also have one more announcement." Eddie said and everyone looked at him curiously. "We will be starting the filming of the 7th season next month! We can't wait to see everyone back in storybrooke!" He said with a laugh. Everyone cheered, excited to hear that we were continuing the show.

Lana's POV:
The rest of the night was fun, we played games and we even convinced Sean and Colin to do some kareoke which was hilarious, but not so good for us, because once they were done, they made Jen, Rebecca and I get up and sing next. I didn't mind it so much and neither did bex because we both loved goofing off but this was all new for Jen. Half way through the song though, all three of us were making total fools of ourselves and it was one of the best times of my life. I was so happy to have Jen by my side and so excited for our new baby that would be coming in a few short months. I was looking forward to see how our little family would grow and it was going perfectly, it was everything I had ever imagined it would be.
