  I stared out at the drab colours of the London skyline from the apartment penthouse, always looking like it's about to rain. My necklace, the one that practically decides my fate, was still ice cold. Nothing seemed to be changing, like always. I don't know why I expected any different. I guess I may have woken up slightly happy, but as always it's gone. Antonio, the person I work for who insists he's my friend but is more of an acquaintance, met Lovino Vargas when traveling to Italy for a business trip. Lovino's brother Feliciano met his soulmate when traveling country to country, Ludwig from Germany. Other than that, I don't socialize. The only people I know already met their soulmates.

  I could go and listen to Antonio and Feliciano talk for hours about how you just have to look, they're out there somewhere. I could attempt to talk to Ludwig, but he'll probably just end up talking about other things to get out of the awkward air. And Lovino isn't much help, we're both way to stubborn and pessimistic to talk for long, or it will turn into lost hope. The one other person I know met his soulmate, but she died about a year into the relationship. And I am NOT up for another "Lecture of Love" from Francis. But, it does get me free drinks.....

  I fixed myself a cup of Honey Chamomile tea in a dark green mug whilst wondering what to do. It was a Wednesday, which means I go into work at noon, the florists. I,sadly, have already gotten into the habit of getting up at six thirty. I guess I could go to the zoo, or a pet store. I have wanted to buy a cat lately, but I want them all each time I go. I guess I'll just go look at a few. JUST. LOOKING. Yes, it's settled. Now, to watch Dr.Who re-runs until the pet store opens at eight.

~~~Time Skip to Glorious Kittens~~
  I grabbed my scarf headed out. The elevator was taking a while, so I grabbed out my phone and started playing a song and put in my apple earbuds. The lyrics were ringing through my head,The Only Exception by Paramore. I may not have a true love, but at least I can pretend I do.
 I hopped into the elevator and closed the door, glad no one wakes up this early on a Sunday. I pulled out the earbuds and stepped into the bright lobby, with the drab workers distressed from being awakened this early. I snickered slightly, about how ironic it seems. People usually hate waking up early and work early, while I enjoy waking up at earlier hours to go to work at noon. Anyways, I stepped into the brisk spring air, allowing myself to take a deep breath in.
  I walked over to  a taxi, parked in front awaiting business. I told the driver where to go, just quietly sitting in the back seat while watching the scenery buzz past. I saw the pet store coming closer until we parked and I paid the usual toll, same as always. The pet store is right next to my workplace, anyways.
 I pushed open the glass doors to the pet shop, making chimes ring to alert the workers someone has entered. A woman with slightly curly long brown hair with a flower waved at me, smiling warmly. I gave her a small polite smile and made my way to the usual area- I mean pshhh, I don't come and look at cats that often! Heh heh...
 Anyways, I looked all the adorable, fluffy kittens before I saw two that caught my eye. One was an off-white Scottish fold with orange/brown patches and a puffy tail, and it seemed to be cuddling with a white cat with a grey pouf around it's neck, a tuft of fur coming out of it's head, and the faint outline of a shape that resembles glasses under it's eyes. I would only buy one, but they looked so cute together, I wouldn't dare separate them! Wait, since when was I buying them? Apparently now...
  I grabbed the cat care essentials and asked for the cats in their cage, buying all of it happily and petting the two. I still don't know what to name them. It'll probably come to me soon. I should be glad I picked an apartment that allows certain pets! I hailed a taxi, putting the bags in and grabbing out the money for cab fare back to my home. I watched the cats, they seem to be nearly opposites! I think I'll name the white and grey one Hero and the Scottish fold Gentleman. Anyways, Hero seems to be more energetic and loud, as well as social. Gentleman seems to be a fancier cat, I like him.
  I was so infatuated with me new cats that I barely noticed my apartment in front of me! I hopped out quickly and grabbed all of my things, handing the money over quickly and smiling brightly walking into the building. I did the usual way to get up, the elevator, and nearly ran to my apartment. I quickly set everything out and let the cats wander around their new home.
  Goodness, It's already nine thirty! I'm opening the shoppe today, so I'm probably going to head over by ten thirty to be there by eleven. It seems I have some time, but I don't have many things to do today. Okay, I have nothing to do today. I guess I'll just tidy up a bit around the house until the time to work rolls around!
\This was my first USUK fanfiction and I'm trying to write longer chapters. Sorry if it's too repetitive or (what I assume) it is literally the worst fanfiction ever and you don't wan to look an my account anymore. I would understand. But, I'm still writing. Until next time! \
