We both set the cats down and started to walk towards the other rooms, one guest room, my bedroom, my bathroom, guest bathroom, and laundry room. Yeah, that hallway has the ability to lead anywhere. As we past them I would point and way their names, the farthest rooms being mine and across the hall, the guest room. Temporarily housing the person who I'm meant to be with forever. I was about to open the door to show him his room before he decided to put in his own input.

"Wait, can I see your room first?"

I was confused by the sudden question and not sure why I got it, but instead I shrugged and opened the door to my own room, the newly painted trees standing out immediately, the room looking more bare than normal without the last pieces of furniture. I felt Alfred radiating heat as he walked past me, looking into my room with wonderment in his eyes.

"Oh my God, it's so cool! I made the right choice of seeing this, it is awesome! How long did it take to paint?"

I stood there for a few moments, blushing at the sudden jump of compliments, before shaking me head slightly and answering, walking in myself and closing the door, "Only a few days, it wasn't that hard. I'm a lot better at art things than cooking, that is for sure."

"One, that is hella cool, and two, why the comments on your cooking?"

"Alfred did you know you could burn pop tarts? I got it completely blackened on one end and bubbling up and it swelling in the middle with a large crack. I looked away from the toaster oven for 3 seconds!"

Alfred starting laughing again at this comment and pulled me into his side, keeping his arm around me. I blushed and looked down, smiling lightly at  that now familiar heat around my neck. I guess I could get used to Alfred being here at a faster rate than I originally planned.

Alfred hesitantly leaned down slightly, placing a butterfly kiss on my forehead. I closed my eyes and focused on the feeling, smiling lightly. I opened my eyes once he leaned back up to see him blushing lightly as well. He continued to look around a few moments more before meeting my eyes, green clashing against blue. He smiled down at me as I continued to look up at him, wondering if it would be deemed appropriate to kiss him. I mean, we did just meet officially, but he's my soulmate!

He must have been thinking the same thing because we started to slowly drift towards each other. My eyes slowly drifted shut as we finally collided, the warmth of his mouth meeting mine lightly as to not push any boundaries. We slowly drifted apart after a moment or two, the blush on our faces growing. I smiled lightly up at him as he returned it, securing his arm around me. Uh, I just had an idea but I shouldn't ask it... well, whatever! Awkwardness aside, I need to stop being a baby!

"Do.. uh, would you like to sleep in my room with me? If you say yes I'm going to say no funny business, sir!"

He just chuckled and nodded, "I would love to!"
