I must have dozed of on the couch, because when I woke up I saw the overly excited furry face of Hero on me. My hair was sticking to my forehead and I seemed out of breath, must have been a bad dream. I rarely remember my dreams anyways. Now that I think about it, Hero did look slightly concerned. I guess I was too distracted by waking up to a heavy cat on me.

I sat up, rubbing the sleepiness out of my eyes, and started thinking about the not from yesterday. I looked down to see it sitting on the table in front of me. Speak of the devil, or think of it, I guess. The note seemed to loom over me, even though it was just that small post it note. I wonder if I should. Antonio thinks it might make me happy, but he thinks everything will make me happy. I guess I might give it a try...

I hopped up from the couch, suddenly glad Antonio gave me the day off. I ran to my office and yanked the chair out, suddenly exited at the thought of making new friends. I doubt any of them will talk to me that much, since I'm a horrible person. I logged on quickly and looked up some social websites. (I will be making up a website since I'm not going to research a website to make friends) friendsWorldwide.org is the one that he wrote on the back, I'll check it out. I types in the url, suddenly hesitant to try this. I typed up me e-mail, name, DOB, so on. The website also had me type in a quick description of myself and choose a text colour, which I obviously chose green. I picked a picture of me that was taken at the flower shoppe when I was first employed by Toni.

I browsed the website for a bit, looking at all of the different accounts. I saw a few interesting ones, but none caught my eye. No one texted me, as I suspected. I was just about to shut it off until I saw one that caught my eye. Alfred F. Jones. That name stood out of all of the rest, in his his picture he had bright blue eyes and rectangular glasses, messy dirty blonde hair with a small piece sticking up, and the brightest smile I had ever seen.

Just when I was about to contact him using the website, he texted me.  My heart nearly stopped, why would he text me? I'm not all too interesting! This must be some sort of trick, but it wasn't! I opened up the chat to see his smiling photo with bright blue lettering.

Alfred: What's up dude!

Arthur: Oh, hello Alfred. I am fine, how about you?

Alfred: I'm good, and hey Artie! I saw your account

Arthur: My name isn't Artie! It's Arthur! >>>>>>:C

Alfred: Okay, whatever you say Artie! Anyway, I heard you live in England?

Arthur: Then you heard correctly! I live in London. I'm guessing you read that in the description I wrote.

Alfred: Heck yeah!

Alfred: What are some other facts about you? You didn't write much in the description. Just where you lived and that you have a bad temper...

Arthur: Well I live in an apartment alone. I work at a florist shoppe a few blocks from my house, and I recently bought to cats named Hero and Gentleman. I also technically have no actual friends, my boss (who is awfully cheery) told me I should check out this website to brighten my mood.

Alfred: Cool! I live in New York, also in an apartment! Although I'm not allowed to have pets where I live. I work at a pet store, though! I have lots of friends! But you can never have too many friends!

Alfred: Do you have any siblings? I have a twin brother, although he looks a bit different. His name it Matthew

Alfred: >w< also you spell shop weird

Arthur: A few. I have a sister and 5 brothers! The only ones I'm still in contact with Oliver, Allistair, and Peter. Only Oliver actually likes me though, but he likes everyone. And I spell it correctly, nitwit!

Alfred: Anyways, I have to go! It's 2 in the morning here, which means...

Alfred: 7 in the morning there! Geez, you're up early. Anyways, text you later!

Alfred: Do you have a phone # I can text you with?

Arthur: Sure, it's *insert phone number here lol I'm unoriginal*. Good night, Alfred

I logged out soon after turning the computer off, staring at the blank computer screen. Wow, I think I just made a friend. That turned out better than I could actually imagine. For the first time in a while, I smiled a true smile. I'm not alone anymore.
