I slowly inched out of Alfred's grasp and started to lead him to the kitchen so if he needed to find anything to eat while I was gone (And honestly probably while I'm here too seeing how food works with me) while holding his hand. It was a bit less awkward, I occasionally glanced down at our intertwined fingers and back up at his smiling face, taking in the view form my apartment.
"Can I come see your work tomorrow? I want to sight see!", Alfred asked, scooting closer to me.
"I mean, I won't stop you, but it isn't much a sight to see. It's just flowers. But if you really want on my lunch break you and I can go to a café right next door and after I get off we can go to some of the cheesy attractions like the London Eye. If you want, at some point I can give you an official tour."
"Really Artie? You would? I would love to do all those cheesy tourist attraction stuff! Especially the Harry Potter experience here! I heard that is great!"
"Well, that is correct about the Harry Potter experience. Since you are my guest, I will do the honours of buying you a wand."
He pouted slightly, "You don't have to buy me things! I'm the hero, I should buy things for you!"
"Ha, well deal with it. You are still my guest, no matter how heroic you may seem."
Alfred's playful pout turned into a small smile, "So you agree, I'm heroic af."
"No, that's not what I said. I said no matter how heroic, meaning you can be as heroic as a slug."
"I dunno dude, slugs are pretty heroic probably. We don't know their lives"
I laughed lightly at the comment and looked down at the fat ball of fluff rubbing my leg. I laughed and sat down to pet him, letting go of Alfred's hand. Alfred pouted playfully and turned around, picking up Gentleman.
"Psh, if you ditch me for your cat I'll just hang out with your other cat!", he turned down to face the annoyed cat in his arms, " You like me right?"
Right on time, Gentleman jumped out of Alfred's arms and over to me, hiding behind me. Alfred, being a drama queen, put a hand on his chest and made a dramatic shocked face, "Why, I never thought you would betray me like this! I thought you loved me!"
I put a hand over my mouth and giggled a bit, hiding my smile, "And now another betrayal, I just lost The Game."
Alfred just tiled his head in confusion, What's The Game? Are you making things up?"
"Well, the point of The Game is never to think about the words 'the game', and whenever you do you have to say aloud, 'I just lost The Game' making everyone else lose. Therefore, you have also just lost The Game."
"Well then", Alfred replied, smirking with amusement, "I just lost The Game."
