Antonio jumped slightly as I shot up, smiling widely. I hopped off of the ground and walked over to him, not really sure why.

"When is my next day off, besides when I have to pick up Alfred?"

"A few days after that, why? Anything planned?", Antonio questioned.

I smiled, "I want to re-paint my room. I don't really know why though."

Antonio laughed loudly and  shook his head, walking towards the counter. "Well, if you want to go start now, I can handle the rest of the day. to repay you for before!"

I smiled up at him, "Are you sure? One hundred percent?"

"Yes, there isn't much to do today. Have fun!"

I happily exited and headed back to my apartment. I should probably drive, in case I do buy paint. I looked at my room and wondered how long it would take to move all of the furniture. Well, it seemed easy enough. All the pieces I needed out can fit through the doorway and I can just move my bed to the middle of the room. Great! I grabbed my keys and headed down, hopping into my rarely used car. It was a Mini Cooper, but whatever. It was green with white racing stripes on it. Francis calls it girly, I tell him to shut up.

I turned the music on and let it play as a sort of background noise so I didn't get weirded out by my own silence. It happens, I'm really so awkward that I make myself awkward. So sad. As I drove I looked around at the lack of cars on the street. Well, I guess everyone is at work about now, or at home. There were a few cars, but the streets were mainly empty. Hope it's not the zombie apocalypse!

I parked my car and headed into Lowe's, suddenly feeling awkward. The building is huge! And smells like paint. And clean. and somehow sawdusty. I should go get the paint instead of standing here like an idiot. I headed farther into the building and looked at the paint swatches, choosing three greens and two browns. I guess I'll need less of certain colours... I eventually bought two of the middle green shade and the lighter brown, getting one of the rest.

Getting them into my car was annoying, seeing how they were surprisingly heavy, but I was quite proud of myself for buying them today. I can start moving furniture and putting tape on the windowsill and any edges not needing paint. I guess I should ask the owner of the apartment if I can, but hey I'll do it anyways. I'm a rebel!

After somehow getting back and getting the paint upstairs, I set them down lining the wall in front of my room. I really hope none of the other occupants noticed them. Whatever. I walked in and started by moving many books onto my kitchen table and moving out my bookshelf into a blank space of the wall into the living room, putting the books back in. Along with a few movies, mainly Disney and Wes Anderson films. Along with the Harry Potter movies, of course.

I moved my desk out into the hallway in an area that I could still get past. It'll most likely still be there when Alfred comes over, so he'll have to deal with it. Now all I had was my bed, I didn't have much in there. I pushed it, after much difficulty, to the middle of the room. I started applying some blue tape to the windowsill and the door frame, along with the piece of wood separating the wall from the floor. I wonder what it's called? Oh well.

I moved the paint into my room and grabbed some paintbrushes of varying size that I got for my birthday. I suddenly felt really happy that the ceiling was already green so I only needed to add details. I smiled and opened one of the light brown, automatically smelling the paint. Good thing I like it! I dipped a thick paintbrush into it and put the first streak of it onto my wall.
