I quickly cleaned up whatever petals that might have fallen off overnight and quickly wiped down the counters, flipping the sign and turning on the lights to let everyone know that we're open. As usual, no one came in and only a few really noticed. I walked behind the counter after feeling content with what I had finished. I leaned against it and starting planning out tomorrow. So I should at least get some sleep tonight to get to the airport without crashing. Speaking of my lack of sleep, damn I should've slept. At least I got some done! I might be able to finish before Alfred leaves. Oh, I should also grab a small bouquet as a welcoming gift or something! I mean, I do work at a flower shoppe.
I smiled lightly and looked around at the flowers, eventually choosing a few varied blue and white flowers. I set it aside and took about fifteen dollars out of my pocket, putting it into the register. I started spacing out, thinking about what Alfred might think of me. What if he hates me? I mean, I'm pretty temperamental and rude, so I'll have to act as nice as possible. If possible, I'm kind of horrible.
The next few hours were boring, one person came in and bought a rose, but that was it. It was about lunchtime, so Antonio should be arriving soon. I'm not all too hungry, oddly enough. Did I eat breakfast today at all? Huh, I don't remember. I hope I did, I really don't want to end up eating a bunch of junk food later because I'm hungry. It's a real problem.
I decided I should probably look around the shoppe for anything to clean. God, this place is really boring. You know what, we have some flowers. People like flower crowns. Fuck cleaning, I'm making flower crowns. I'll be the flower god damned king. I walked over to a bunch of flowers that we hadn't set out for display yet since we had too many flowers and got to work. I made sure that none of the flowers had any thorns and started weaving them together, making many colour coordinated flower crowns. A few may have looked kind of random with colours, but that would probably be because I themed some on seasons. The ones based on spring were multicoloured.
By the time Antonio arrived I had not only made about twenty flower crowns, but using a thin vase with roses in it I made a place to hold them. I just put them on the vase. He walked in confused, but I didn't really notice since I was making a sign with paper and some gel pens to advertise them. Antonio laughed a bit as I put the sign up, but I didn't really care. They looked pretty and I already saw some girls at a nearby coffee house take notice. Bam, I'm a genius. Well, only about three more hours until I can go home and continue painting!
