Fia's POV

Me and Renz are preparing for the baby shower of Zia's twins. That's why I have been coming home late these past few days. Mabuti naayos na ang lahat, kasi bukas na ang dating nila Zia.

Katulad noon ay naabutan ko na namang natutulog sa sofa sa living room si Zehl. I smiled looking at him, I haven't told him about the ongoing annulment yet. Because his birthday is also on Zia's arrival. Gusto ko sanang maging dual celebration, kaya nakikipagtulungan ako kay Renz. Kahit pa walang oras ata na 'di kami nagkakasagutan, as usual.

"Zehl," I called him and caressed his face. Mabilis na inabot niya anmana ng kamay ko at nagmulat.

"Ufi, it's already morning again." Puna niya nang makita ang orasan. Umupo naman ako sa tabi niya at sumandal sa baliakt niya.

"Well, it's exhausting, I want everything perfect for Zia. Alam mo naman 'di ba?" H then snaked his arm on my waist and pulled me closer.

"I know, Ufi. Let's just rest now then. Mukhang marami pa kayong aayusin ni Renz bukas sa event."

I heard a slight jealousy on his tone that's why I sit straight and face him.

"Jealous?" I teased, but he just laugh and kissed my nose.

"Jealous of the time that you spent with him, but I am not jelous with Boss. Alam kong nagkaayos na kayo, kaya wala naman akong dapat ipagselos 'di ba?"

Ngumisi naman ako at inilagay sa balikat niya ang dalawang kamay ko. "You sure trust me."

Tumango naman siya at biglang hinalikan ako sa labi. This sly man. Hahaha!

"Ufi, you're mine. My girl, and I will always trust your word."

Hindi ko naman napigilan na at niyakap ko na siya. "Thank you for trusting, Zehl. And I want to thank you again, for not letting me go after all these years."

Humigpit namana ng balik niyang yakap at naramdaman kong hinalikan niya ang sentido ko.

"Let's stop being too romantic, Ufi. Baka kasi 'di ako makapagpigil. Ang sexy pa naman ng suot mo." Nang dahil sa sinabi niya ay naitulak ko kaagad siya at sinuntok sa sikmura.

"You pervert. You we're staring at my fcking ass the whole time we were hugging, am I right?" Napakamot naman siya sa batok niya at 'di sumagot. Kaya naman napataas ang kilay ko. He wants to hold his patience, let's see then.

"Zehl, Zehl, Zehl, you know I don't mind. I can accommodate you with what you want." I teased and move closer in front of him. Kaagad namang napaatras ang mokong.

"Fia," he warned. But I took another step forward.

"What, Zehl?" I said seductively and leaning forward showing my cleavage. My spaghetti strap body fit dress is doing its trick. Hahahaha! Let's see how far you can go, my dear Zehl.

"Fia, stop it." He said and back away again, but this time I moved fast and pushed him down the sofa while I am still standing in between his parted legs.

"Stop, what, dear?" I smirked, that's when Zehl sighed and pulled me by my hand to lean on him and kissed my lips. I win hahahaha!

His kisses made me sat on his lap as his hands made his way on my back and my nape. I was also about to run my fingers on his chest, but he stopped kissing me.

"Ufi," he asked with pleading eyes. That's why I laughed hard.

"Sorry, Zehl. I was just teasing, it won't happen again. Hahaha!" Tawa ko at niyakap siya. Napayakap naman siya ng mahigpit.

"Don't do it again. I might lose control. But for now, let me stay like this for five minutes." He said and hugged me while I'm still on his lap. I know he won't lose control. He respects me so much and is still waiting for me and Renz to annul before he does anything. That's why I admire and love this man so much. He's everything that I can ask for now.

Zehl's POV

They planned it well, everything went well. Pagdating pa lang nila Zia, Lhester at ng mga baby sa airport ay isang malaking surpresa na. Nagulat ang mag-asawa nang maghanda ng mascot at banda sila Fia para e-welcome ang mag-anak.

Kahit pa pinagmumura ni Zia ang kambal niya ay nakita ko namang natuwa siya at ngayon ay naghanda naman ng baby shower party si Fia at Renz. All of Zia and Lhester's friends and relative are invited, that's why they rented and gran hall for the party.

"Ufi, aren't you tired?" I asked circling my arms on Fia's waist while I am behind her.

"A bit, but seeing my sister this happy, everything is worth it." She smiled and held my hand on her tummy.

I was stunned when Fia pulled me out from the hall in the middle of the party. Dinala niya ako sa helipad ng building at nakakagulat na naroon na ang buong shadows. Kasama sila Lhester at Zia.

"What are we doing here?" I asked. Ngumiti naman si Fia at kasabay no'n ang paglanding ng 13 seater na helicopter. Napanganga ako sa nangyayari. Isa-isang sumakay ang iba.

"Ufi, what about the baby shower?"

"Zehl, don't worry. Zia and Lhester's parents are with the kids and hosting the party. It's time for us to celebrate."

I was in awe when we arrived at a private resort in Palawan. They said The Santillans owned the resort. And I bet it's her surprise for me.

"Surprise! Happy birthday, my dear Zehl!" Fia greeted and hugged me. Napayakap ako kaagad pabalik. Akala ko nakalimutan niya, hindi naman sa nagtatampo ako, kasi naiintindihan ko na busy talaga siya. Pero iba pa rin ang pakiramdam na naalala niya at ngayon binigyan niya pa ako ng regalo.

"Happy birthday, Zehl!" Bati rin ng iba nang makapasok kami sa beach house. Gabi na rin kasi kaya naman nakahanda na ang mga pagkain para sa isang dinner party.

Bumitaw naman tuloy ako kay Fia at hinarap silang lahat. "Salamat, guys!"

"Zehl," tawag naman ni Renz at may inabot sa akin. Isang parihabang box. Kumakain na ang iba kaya kaming tatlo lang ang naiwan sa living room ng beach house.

"Boss, 'di mo naman kailangan bigyan ako ng regalo." Saad ko, pero ngumiti lang siya.

"It's mine and Fia's gift."

Napakunot kaagad ang noo ko. Anong regalo ang ibinili nila, saka bakit ang gaan ng kahon? Hindi ko na naman na pinatagal at binuksan na ang regalo. Napanganga ako nang makitang isang folder na may lamang papel lang ang laman nito.

Tinignan ko silang dalawa, pero sabay silang angkibit balikat.

As I opened read the content of the paper, my heart was filled with warmth. It was a copy of their annulment papers. "Fia,"

"It is still on going. Though, Lolo Tezuka said he'll be in charge. Kaya paniguradong mailalakad niya kaa---" Hindi ko na siya pinatapos at mabilis na hinalikan ko siya sa labi. Napansin ko namang umatras si Boss, pero binalingan ko siya.

"Renz. Salamat dito." Nginitian niya lang ako bilang ganti. Pero dahil maayos na lahat, siguro ay wala nang rason para patagalin ko pa.

"Guys," I called everyone. They all looked at our way.

"I just want all of you to witness," I started and held Fia's hand.

"my proposal." After what I said, I kneeled with my right leg and pulled the ring resting in my pocket. I am always carrying the ring with this proposal in mind. And I can't find any more suitable timing for this, but this time, when my happiest birthday yet is happening.

"Fia, I know it's still in process, but when you're no longer Mrs. De Vera, will you accept being my Mrs. Cortez?" I offered the ring in front of her.

Natutop ni Fia ang labi niya at hindi makapaniwalang tumitig sa akin. NArinig ko namang nagsigawan ang mga kasamahan namin at inudyukan si Fia.

"Say yes! Say yes!" They all cheered. Kaya naman napatawa si Fia, pero inabot niya ang kamay kong nakalahad sa kanya at tumango. She's smiling and at the same time, she's crying.

"Yes, I'll be your Mrs. Cortez."
