"Page dear, do you mind grabbing this box for me, and put it in the kitchen?" My mom, Susan, asked. "Yeah, sure." I told my mom, taking the heavy box from her and putting it on the kitchen counter.

I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Page. Page Holmes. My parents and I just moved to a huge house my fathers friend bought for us down in Florida, because my dad sadly lost his job. Believe me, his friend is rich! My mom doesn't really work, but right now she's working at a bakery. I'm an only child sadly, and I have a hard time making friends. I don't know why. I guess I just can't trust people. My dog is probably my only friend. Don't judge me. She's a chocolate lab named Lacey. I love her so much!

I just recently got registered into a new high school. I'm actually quite nervous surprisingly. I usually don't get nervous on the first day. Whether its a new student, or just the first day of school. It's kind of crazy.



I start tomorrow morning. This year, I'm hoping to get at least get one friend. I'm starting my Junior year this year, and I think it's about time I should start making friends again. Wondering what happened? Well, I'm not surprised.

It all started when I was in 7th grade. I had a best friend names Julia, but we aren't friends anymore. I told her all my secrets. Even my deepest darkest secrets that I would never even think about telling anybody. But of course, Julia was one I could trust. Until one day, a certain girl came. She seemed really nice! At least, that's what I thought. Her name was Chloe. She became friends with me and Julia, but mostly Julia. Chloe had invited me over for a sleepover. Of course me being my friendly side, I accepted the invitation. Big mistake.

I packed and my mom drove me to her house. I came in and we had a blast! It was probably 9PM before she started to get all serious..

* Flashback *

Chloe and I giggled at the fat guy on t.v. who was trying to hula hoop. Chloe all of the sudden turned the t.v. off. She glared at me, and I gave her a confused look.

"Don't you play dumb with me Page" she snapped at me.

"I-I don't know what your talking about?" I questionably said.

"You better back off Page. Julia is my friend now. Not yours" she glared at me even harder.

"I thought we could all be friends" i said softly, trying not to make her mad.

"Listen, I'm not into your fun and games. Julia is my friend now, and not yours. I have more power than you and I can make her believe your awful. Unlike you, I'm more pretty" Chloe said, glancing at her freshly manicured nails.

"That isn't fair. Julia is my friend too!" I said almost at a yell, but tried to keep my voice down, because I didn't want to wake up her parents.

"Now now Page. Who would you really think she would believe? The ugly one?" She said, looking me over in disgust. "Or the pretty one?" She said, smiling and flipping her beach blonde hair.

"A friend doesn't believe one another over how they look" I replied, feeling a bit of hurt in my eyes that she thinks I'm ugly.

"Oh please. Quit talking all nerdy. You don't even fit in. Your ugly and worthless. I'm surprised you even have friends." She snapped at me, pure anger in her eyes that I wasn't giving in.

I just couldn't help it. Tears flooded my eyes and just poured down. I just cried. I couldn't even control it. She called me ugly and worthless. She is right. Why would anybody want to be friends with me?

"Get out of my house" Chloe ordered, pointing to her bedroom door.

I packed up my belongings, called my mom and went home.

*End Of Flashback*

Chloe called Julia I guess that night, saying a bunch of rumors about me that didn't even make since. Half of the stuff she said, I was even surprised. Why would I do any of that? I was even more surprised when Julia believed them. After that night, Julia and Chloe never talked to me again. Nobody wanted to be my friend, because Chloe shared some more rumors with not just Julia, but the whole school! It was the worst feeling ever! Having nobody to talk to, or just hang out with and laugh about random stuff.

I'm so glad we moved. I can now get away from all that drama. This time I will start fresh. It'll be a new start for me in my life.

My thoughts were interrupted by my mom. "Page? Page? Hello? Page! Page come back to reality!" My mom said constantly, moving her hand back and fourth repeatedly a couple centimeters away from my face.

"Oh yes. Sorry. Just got caught up in thinking, I guess." I told my mom, with an apologetic look on my face.

"That's ok hun. There's one more box in the truck for your room. Make sure you unpack everything before bed. You don't want to stress about finding everything tomorrow, considering its your first day." My mom said, starting to unpack the box I had set on the counter.

"Yes mother" I replied to my mom, as I walked into the truck and grabbed the last box that was in there.

As I walked out, I saw a park straight ahead of me. It looked nice, clean, and open. A good place to do some thinking. Maybe I'll check it out later.

I just got done unpacking my room. It was already painted a light yellow, and i just added some flower wall stickers around it. I had a beautiful balcony outside, and a large bathroom connected to my room. My wooden floor was a beautiful dark brown, and it was really smooth and shiny. I had a walk in closet right next to my bathroom. I had my bed made, my dresser all set up, and my mirror exactly where I wanted it. It was perfect! This house is perfect! It's like a mansion, but only better! Well, not really. But you get the point.

I got out the clothes I was going to wear to school tomorrow, and set them on my dresser. I then got out my pajamas and took a nice cool shower.

Once I got done showering, I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and took out my contacts.

Yes, I got contacts. And let me tell you, they're wonderful! I love them so much! I look more beautiful and I feel more confident about myself.

Tomorrow is going to be a new start, and let me tell you a little something.

'I'm ready' I thought, as I slowly dripped into a peaceful sleep.

Yay! I hope you like it! This chapter was really more of an intro of how Page's life is. The next chapter will start to give you a little intro of the other characters and we'll work from there! (: I really hope this story goes big because I have a feeling you guys are going to love it. I have everything planned and it's going to be filled with drama, and romance. I can't wait!
