It's Complicated

Chapter 3

White.

Pure white.

That's all I see right now. Am I dead? Oh my God no! I'm to young to die!

I move my hands around to block the white light I see.

All of the sudden, the light is gone. I can see my hands, feet, hair, walls, everything!

"Oh good, she's up" the nurse said. She handed some paperwork to someone, but I didn't seem to notice who. I was to busy distracted by that boy somehow. I wanted to meet him, get to know him! He just caught my eye, but now he's gone.

"Uhh.. Hi.." Said an unknown voice. I turned my head to look at who the voice came from. It sounded like angels singing. Don't judge me.

I froze. Just froze. All my body is stiffened and I can't move my body, at all.

'Its him' I thought to myself. It's that guy! The one who crashed into me! Did he come to apologize? What is going on?

"H-hi" I stuttered. Ugh. This boy has got me all nervous.

"I am so sorry for crashing into you! Are you alright?" He questioned me with a worried face.

"Yes, I'm fine. What's your name?" I questioned. I really want to know his name. Hopefully we can become friends.

"My name's Tyler. What's yours?" He asked with a small smile.

I think I might faint again. His smile is better than seeing Justin Bieber shirtless. Oh yes, I just went there.

"Page Holmes. It's nice to meet you" I returned the smile back to him.

"I guess that wasn't the best impression for our first time meeting" he chuckled a bit.

Like I said, I think I might faint again. I'm already feeling really dizzy so I wouldn't be surprised.

Just in that moment, the nurse walked in with some paperwork, and a warm smile.

"Page your mother is on her way to pick you up. Sorry to say this, but you'll need to go home and rest for the day. If your pain, or dizziness gets any worse, I suggest you go to the doctor or hospital. Have a nice day" she spoke, before stepping back into her office, to make some more calls, along with filling out paperwork.

"Hey, I have to get to class. I'll see you around maybe? Page?" Tyler said.

"Of course!" I said with a smile. This guy is really nice. Wait, oh no. How am I going to explain to mom how this happened?

About 5 minutes later, my name was called and I had gotten in the car with my mom.

"Page dear, are you alright? What happened?" My mom asked, with pure worry in her voice.

"Yes I'm fine, and some b-one was in a hurry and accidentally crashed into me" I told my mom. I can't tell her a boy crashed into me. She would start getting all lovey dovey and ask me a million questions, like we were playing 20 questions. You know that game thing where it guesses what your thinking?

"Ok hun. As long as your alright that's all I'm concerned about." My mom said, not keeping her eyes off the rode.

"Wait what about my car?" I thought about my car still being at the school.

"You'll drive it home tomorrow" she told me with a simple smile.

When we got home, I got out some textbooks and started to work on my homework.
