It's Complicated

 I don't know what to feel right now. My head is spinning, and I'm feeling nauseous in my stomach. Everything around me is now gone, as all I feel is depression. I thought he cared.  I thought he loved me. Apparently I was wrong, because now everything inside of me is gone. No more heart, no more laugh, no more joy, and no more soul. He told me he would be there for me no matter, but he broke that. I should've never trusted him. He's the schools bad boy! I mean, what do you expect!?

  "Page!?" I hear Tyler yell, as his loud footsteps break me out of my trance. I panick, not knowing what to do. Where do I go? I'm in the middle of a hallway. Seeing someones open locker, I squeeze my tiny body into the locker, and only crack it so I don't get locked in. His footsteps get louder, and louder, as he approaches my distance more closely. 

  I hear his heavy breathing, as his footsteps are roaming around the end of the hallway trying to search for me. Why did I even trust him? I should've known. All of the sudden I hear a loud thump, and some whimpers and sniffles. Is he... crying? I peak my eye out of the crack in the locker, to find him on his knees, sure enough crying. Oh my gosh.. 

  I quietly crawl out of the locker, and creep up behind him. Hearing him cry brings sadness to my heart. I've never seen a boy cry before. Giving in, I decide to talk to him.

  "Tyler?" I question, touching his right shoulder with my hand. His head shoots around, and he gives me the biggest hug I've ever gotten. I gasp for air, as he squeezes me tighter.

  "Can't.. Breathe.." I struggle, as I try to wriggle out of his arms. He lets me go immediantly, as I stare into his eyes. He puts on a smile, as he wipes one of my tears away. I smile back, as I close my eyes to his touch.

  "I'm so sorry. She just came up to me and started kissing me. I tried to push her away, but she was to strong for me, surprisingly, and when I heard your voice, I actually was able to escape" He chuckles, staring at the floor. 

  " We should probably head back to class now" I say, as he gets up, then helps me up. I smile a thank you to him, and we walk to class together hand in hand.

At lunch, Tyler had to leave early, as he had to go do something with his neighbor. I was at the lunch table with Drew, and his brat of a girlfriend, Autumn. We were enjoying a nice lunch, until she speaked. "So, Page, are you dating Tyler?" She asks, smiling at me. I only stare at her, until Drew speaks for me.  "Yes, she is." He says, looking at me the whole time with an unapproving look. I roll my eyes, and get up to throw my food away.

When I throw away my food, someone grabs my arm and yanks me. I scream, and they quickly covers my mouth. Spinning me around, stands a tall girl who has... wait a second. She's that blonde slut! Before I have any move to say anything, she slaps me, surprisingly, in the same spot Autumn did. What's with that cheek!? I cover my cheek, and fall to the floor, as hot tears flood my eyes. 

 "What was that for!?" I yell at her, getting up and whiping my tears away. She only looks at me and laughs. I brush my shirt in case any dust got on it. 

"Aww.. Is the baby hurt? Does the baby need to cuddle with her mommy because of a hurt booboo?" She asks, making a pouty face, then continuing to laugh again. Ok I'm done with this. I roll my eyes, and walk away but she beats me to it. She grabs my arm and yanks me back.

"Not so fast. Where do you think your going? I'm not done with you." She says, ripping my shirt back, choking me. I cough, and fall to the floor.. again. I roll my eyes, and get up looking at her, just waiting for her to speak.

"I want you to back off from Tyler." She says, crossing her arms, and raising her eyebrows. Her smudgy makeup revealed when she scrunches her face. I raise my eyebrows back at her, as I wait for her to continue, but she doesn't so I speak for her.

"Excuse me?" I ask, mimicking her, by crossing  my arms and raising my eyebrows as well. 

"You heard me. Back off from Tyler. I want him, so I'm going to get him. If you don't break up with him by tonight, there will be consiquences. I have my eyes on you, Page Holmes." She speaks, using her pointer and middle finger to point to her eyes, then back at me. She walks away leaving me standing there dumbfounded.

This is going to be a long day...

After school, I decide to call Tyler. When I got home, I spent about an hour in my room crying. Drew kept knocking on my door, panicking. I guess he told grandma and grandpa, because they came up too. I whiped away the hot tears pouring down my face, and blew my nose. Deciding not to speak, I decide to text him.

~ Text Convo ~

P: Hey.. Can we talk?

T: Yes. Is everything alright? :/

P: Not really.. Meet me at the park.

T: Alright. See you then! xoxo

~ End Of Convo ~

 I slip on my boots, along with my winter coat. Stepping outside in the cold misty air, I hug the coat to my chest, the wind blowing my hair everywhere. My eyes start to water again, but I simply shake it off. When I reach the park, I spot Tyler on his phone scrolling through something. He smiles and laughs a bit, but stops once he sees me. He instantly shuts off his phone, and shoves it in his pocket. I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion but look back at him.

When he sees me, he looks confused but gets up to hug me. He rubs my back, and I begin to cry again. He then puts his other arm around me, hugging me with both arms. We rock back and forth like this for a couple minutes, until we pull apart. He stares at me in the eyes waiting for me to speak.

"Tyler we need.. We need to.. B.. Br.. Break up" I stutter, sobbing between each words. I can't take this. I run away, just leaving him, standing there alone in the cold. I run inside, slamming the door as everyone turns their head towards me. I throw my jacket on the floor not bothering to pick it up. As I cry everything out, running up the staires. I trip, and fall down a couple of steps but catch myself before falling down any more. 

When I get into my room I do something I thought I'd never do.

M: Hello?

P: Mom?

M: Page? Oh my gosh! Page! I've missed you so much! Is everything alright, dear?

P: Mom.. I want to come home now
