"Tyler what are you doing here" I asked, as I began to walk up to his driveway.
"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" He asked back. Okay well looks like we're playing 20 questions.
"I uh.. Hum.. I just wanted to visit my grandparents! Yeah, I haven't seen them in a while" I said, scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. That'll work, right?
"Oh wow! So am I!" His smile was seriously the cutest thing ever! Aww! Wait, what? Page stop.
"Cool. Hey uh listen, I gotta run but maybe we'll talk later" I said, backing away from him slowly, as I approached the mailbox.
"Yea alright" he said, giving me a small wave. I waved back, then grabbed the mail from the mailbox and went back inside for dinner.
Right now I'm at the table eating dinner. Grandma made this really good pasta. In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE Italian food. Especially pasta!
"So page, what did you do today dear?" My grandma asked me, scooping up her warm noodles in the silver spoon she was holding.
"Just re-decorated my room pretty much. Hey are there any children in your neighborhood? I have some old dolls I found that I'm not going to use anymore, obviously. So I was wondering maybe I could stop by and give it to them?" I asked her. I really do hope there are some children around here. That's just embarassing if I still have some old dolls hanging out in my room. And creepy. What teenager plays with dolls?
"We do! In fact, she lives right next door! Maybe you can run them over after supper?" My grandma said, getting all excited I was willing to do that. When I was little, I wouldn't let anybody touch my dolls. My cat wasn't even aloud to sniff them.
"Yea that sounds perfect!" I said smiling. At least now I can get rid of those old things.
After dinner, I grabbed the box and set it on the kitchen counter.
"they just live right there!" She said, pointing to the right side of her house. I smiled and grabbed the box as I walked outside. I turned to the right side and saw Tyler's house.
"Oh great" I mumbled. Well this is embarrasing. Going to your crus- I mean friends house dropping off dolls for their little sister or cousin. Whoever lives there.
I rang the doorbell one time. It took a couple seconds for somebody to answer, but finally someone came. To my luck, it was Tyler. Obviously.
"Uh.. Page?" He said, staring at me like I had to heads. I rolled my eyes and set down the box.
"Do you have a little girl that lives here?" I asked him once the box was set down.
"Yea?" Poor Tyler. So confused.
"Well can I see her?" I asked him rolling my eyes again. He gets so much on my nerves.
"ALLY!" He yelled. I covered my ears, for how loud he was talking. That boy can scare a coyote away from ten states if he walks around yelling like that.
Shortly after, a young cute girl walks in front of him, staring directly at me. She had red bouncy hair, and brown eyes. She looked nothing like Tyler. I smiled at her, and knelt down so I was around her size. She look kind of sad, depressed almost.
"So Ally, I heard you like dolls?" I asked her, giving her the best smile I can give her. Her facial expression changed in a flash. Her face brightened up, and she looked as if she just won a pet unicorn from the fair. Ally smiled and nodded her head so fast, I thought it was fall off. Just saying.
I took off the tape, and slid the box so it was between her and I. I opened the box to reveal a collection of doll clothes, houses, cars, dolls, etc.
Her jaw dropped and her eyes went huge. She took two dolls out from the box and looked right at me.
"Are these for me?" She squeeled. I could tell she was happy, and I was glad.
"Of course! They're all yours" I said, smiling and giving the box to Tyler so he can carry it up for her. A couple seconds later he returned back by the door, smiling a bit.
"I've never seen her so happy. Where did you get all those?" He said, still keeping that smile planted on his face.
"They were just some old dolls I found when I came back here. I haven't been here since I was little and that's all I played with" I shrugged staring at the floor, somehow finding it very interesting.
"Well thank you" he said, shifting his foot positioning.
"No problem. Ok well I have to get back now. I'll see you later" I said, smiling and walking away. Well, that wasn't to bad. At least he didn't judge me for playing with dolls when I was younger.
Somehow he's changed, and I think I should give him another chance.
Yay! Tyler is back! Are you guys even liking this story? If you aren't, I can stop it. Just saying (:
