The plane landed, so I grabbed all my stuff and walked out. I walked outside to the entrance and found a taxi.
I waved my hand, and the taxi stopped in front of me. I opened the door and set all my stuff down. I smiled at the driver as he began to drive away.
"Where to?" He asked me, turning around. To be honest, he wasn't all bad looking.
I have him the address to where I was headed to. About an hour later we arrived to my destination. I thanked him with a tip, grabbed all my stuff, and began walking up the steep driveway.
The house looked the same. The same bricks, the same painting, the same lawn, the same bench. I haven't been here in years. It's actually kind of funny they kept it this way.
I rang the doorbell and tapped my foot waiting for somebody to answer. The sky had began to darken as the dark clouds covered the bright blue sky. The door opened, and there stood the woman I haven't seen since I was 6.
"Oh my gosh. Page!" She said, bringing me into a giant hug. I closed my eyes and smiled, knowing that I was finally able to see her again.
"Grandma!" I said, not wanting to pull away from the hug. Luck got the best of me, as my grandpa walked in.
"Grandpa!" I squeeled, running up to him and hugging him for dear life.
"Page what a surprise! Do your parents know your here?" My grandpa asked. Oh yea. How am I supposed to explain this?
"No they don't. And I prefer it to stay that way, if you don't mind. They know I'm gone, but they don't know I came here. I'm just having a rough time right now and I feel like I need to get away from everything. I hope you understand" I spoke, taking both their hands in mine. They both looked at each other, then smiled.
"You can trust us page. I hope you work everything out. Just don't do anything bad, and know I'm always here if you need to talk" my grandma said smiling and pulling me back in a hug.
I hugged her back, then took my stuff and walked up to my room. You see, my parents used to go on these week long trips all the time, and I had no where else to stay so I would stay with my grandparents there. Since they had three guest rooms, they just decided I should make one my own room. I walked into my old room, almost chocking at how childish it was.
I had Barbie dolls and Polly pockets scattered everywhere, with some baby dolls in plastic cribs across the room.
I got some empty cardboard boxes up in the attack and placed them down on the carpet in my room. I took all my old toys and set them in the box, along with all my old clothes. I took duct tap and taped it over the the box opening. I set the box at the tip of the staircase and returned back to my room. I decided I should run to the store and pick up some stuff for my room if I want to make it actually teenager related, and not a 5 year old looking room.
I picked up some floral bed sheets and pillow sheets to match it, along with a cute glass table, and a couple white bean bags. I'm currently driving home blasting Lolly by Justin Bieber. I swear, I have an obsession with this song.
Finally. My room is complete! I have a queen size bed, with the side placed against the wall with my window on it, a white dresser next to my closet, with a light pink framed full body mirror next to that, light pink curtains to cover my closet up, a glass table next to my bed, along with a white lamp placed on it. Then next to my tv, I have my bean bags placed on my light pink fluffy rug with a white blanket placed on one of the bean bags. I then have a small white coffee table placed in front of my beanbags. Then I have a LOVE sign put above my window.
I think my room is good
"Page do you mind getting the mail?" My grandma asked sweetly, stirring the noodles she was cooking.
"Yea sure" I said, walking into the front yard. I opened the mailbox and pulled the mail out. Let's see..
Newspaper, coupons, ohh magazine that I'm looking at for sure, bills, and some other coupons.
I heard some talking happening outside the house that was right next to my grandparents. I look over just to take a glance at what's going on. Oh no. The last person I wanted to see at this moment. The person that's ripped a huge chunk of my heart out.
