I woke up the next day hearing the light drizzle of rain patter against my window. I opened my blinds to see the dark clouds and rain falling from the sky. Forcing myself out of bed, I walked to my dresser and threw on some yoga pants and a t-shirt.
When I opened my door, the smell of bacon hit me instantly. I ran down the stairs into the kitchen, to reveal my grandma making bacon and eggs.
"Good morning page! Did you sleep alright?" She asked, stirring the eggs in the pan.
"Yes I slept fine. Thanks for asking" I smiled warmly at her, watching her cook the breakfast.
"I was thinking since it was raining, we can go and rent some movies and eat junk food all day. How does that sound?" My grandma asked, looking away from the cooking food for a second, to smile at me.
This is why I loved my grandma. She is just like a teenager. She understands out problems, and how we feel, and what we like to do!
"That sounds awesome! Can't wait!" I smiled back at her, as she continued to cook her food.
"How about we head down to the market after breakfast" she stated. That wasn't to bad of an idea.
"Sounds great!" I squeeled.
She took out two plates and filled them with the breakfast we were having this morning. We all gathered at the table and ate our meals. This was going to be the best day ever! I knew it!
This is the worst day ever. The power went out so we couldn't drive anywhere, and it's not like we're going to walk there. At least it's still daytime. It's just so hot! We had to open a lot of windows since it was cold out there.
I was currently sitting in my room, watching the rain pour down from my window. My phone began to rang, so I ran to pick it up.
~ phone convo ~ p - page & t - Tyler (;
P- hello?
T- hey!
P- oh hi Tyler.
T- do you see the rain?
P- yes! It's terrible! Hum I don't know what to do at all.
T- meet me on your front porch
P- but Tyler it's to dangerous to go outside right n-
T- I don't care. I'll keep you safe if something happens.
P- ok fine
T- ok see you in a second
~end of phone convo~
I sighed as I got up from my bed and slid on my boots. I walked downstairs, and walked to the kitchen where my grandparents were.
"Can I go out front for a second. I have a friend I'm going to meet out there" I said, sitting down waiting for an answer.
"Please be safe" my grandma said, as she went back to doing whatever she was doing before I came in.
"Thanks" I said, hugging her then walking to the front door.
I opened the front door, to see Tyler standing there with a giant teddy bear in his hand, and a basket full of candy in the other. I thought I would never hear those four words finally come out of his mouth.
"Will you forgive me"
Hopefully Page forgives Tyler! They would be so cute together! Hope you enjoyed this chapter! (:
