"Hey," a voice whispers. "Ella, wake up."
My eyes flutter open and see someone standing over me. I shriek and scoot away from them. They back away, but I realize it's Sohinki and calm down.
"Oh, uh, sorry, I just," I trail off.
"It's fine. You just scared me with your scream," He says with a weak laugh.
"Oh, sorry, Sohin," I say feeling my face turn red.
"Anyway, Lasercorn wanted me to wake you up because we're leaving for work," he says walking out of the room. I walk out into the living room. Lasercorn is sitting on the couch drinking coffee and eating peanut butter cover toast. I lean against the door frame and look at him.
"Mornin', Ella Bear," he says through a mouthful of toast. I laugh as crumbs fall out of his mouth and onto his shirt. "Aw man."
"So, why did I wake up in your bed?" I ask pointedly.
"Nothing happen, El. You fell asleep, I put you in my bed. I slept on the couch," Lasercorn defends. I nod.
"You didn't have to give me your bed," I say. He shrugs.
"It doesn't bother me. I spend a few nights on the couch usually anyway because I fall asleep playing video games or editing."
"Oh," I say nodding.
"Lasercorn, we should get going before we're late," Sohinki says opening the front door. I turn to him.
"I should get going too I'm recording with Mark today," I say. Lasercorn stands up from the couch and we both walk to the front door. Lasercorn and Sohinki head for the elevator and I head to my apartment. I turn back to see Lasercorn wave to me at the last second as the shiny silver elevator doors close.

I wait on a bench in the mall waiting for Mark. I texted him earlier telling him where I'd be in the mall. I tap my foot on the stone floor of the mall nervously. I mean, I've watched Mark on YouTube more than any other YouTuber and this makes me very nervous. What if I mess up? What if I say something wrong? What if-
"Guess who?" someone chirps covering my eyes.
"Godzilla," I say sarcastically.
"You got the god part right," Mark says with a laugh uncovering my eyes and sitting down next to me.
"So, we gonna go record?" I ask. He nods.
"To the Markmobile!" he exclaims standing up and pointing a finger to the ceiling with the other hand on his hip. I giggle at his childishness. I stand up with him and we make our way to his car.

"Matt! Ryan! I'm home," Mark yells throwing his keys onto a small table next to the front door.
Matt and Ryan walk out from the living room into the entryway. I recognize them from a few of Mark's videos.
"Oh hey, Mark. Who's this?" Matt asks.
"I'm Ella," I say holding out my hand. He shakes it.
"Matt." I hold my hand out to Ryan next.
"I'm Ryan," he says with a bright smile.
"So, I was thinking we could do the whisper challenge," Mark says. Matt and Ryan smile and nod enthusiastically. I nod too with a wide smile on my face.

"I like cheese and Supernatural," I say in a quiet voice to Mark.
"One more time," Mark says. I repeat the tweet. Mark shrugs. "Okay, I guess."
"Do you like peas with superheroes?" Mark says to Matt. I look at Mark with a 'what the hell' face. Mark shrugs.
"You look like grease with superhero," Matt says to Ryan in a quiet voice. Mark and I start cracking up. Matt shrugs. "What? That's what I heard?!"
"Okay, so what do you think Matt said?" I ask Ryan.
"You look like mice with super duper," he says. Matt, Mark, and I start cracking up.
"What was the actual thing?" Mark asks.
"I like cheese and Supernatural," I say with a laugh.

"Okay, so we could do another round of that for your channel too," Mark offers. I nod.
"That would be great," I say with a smile.

After were done recording, Mark and I sit in the kitchen drinking coffee. I realize he's staring at me after a while.
"What?" I ask.
"Oh, uh, nothing. Sorry," he says quickly.
"No what was it?" I ask persistently.
"I... I was just thinking about how pretty you are," Mark says with a little red color rushing to his cheeks. I smile and blush too.
"Thanks," I say shyly.
"I want to record with you again," he says. "I think it would be fun and, you know, we could hang out more."
"I'd like that," I nod. "We'd have to record on my days off and after my college classes, but all of my classes are in the morning so that won't be too hard."
"Morning classes?"
"Yeah, I hate sleeping in. I feel like it's a waste of the day," I say. He nods.
"Fair enough," He says sipping his coffee.

Mark drives me home because I walked to the mall from my apartment because I don't have a car. He puts the car in park. I linger in the car a few seconds longer than I probably should have, but I don't open the door. We sit there in silence for a while before Mark says anything.
"Do you want to go on a date on your next day off?" He asks.
"Oh! Yes! Yeah... I mean, that'd be cool," I say. He smiles.
"Cool. See you then, Ella," he says.
"See you then," I wave at him as he drives away. I walk into the building and into my apartment. I squeal excitedly once I get inside.
"The Markiplier just asked me on a date!"
