My phone blares music to wake me up in the morning. I had to get up early today so Lasercorn and I could drive to the Panic! At the Disco concert. It was a long drive, so he had already booked the hotel room for the night for us to stay. I slam my hand onto my phone in hopes it would shut it off. It did. I get up and get dressed, running a brush through my hair and then braiding it. I grab my already packed bag and head into the kitchen. I quickly eat a bowl of cereal and then make coffee.
"Ella, you up?" Lasercorn asks knocking on the door. I walk over and open the door. He has his backpack on his back and a travel coffee mug in his hand. He walks in and sits on the couch.
"I'm so excited!" I say. He nods.
"I thought you would be," he says with a big smile on his face.
"What time does the concert start?" I ask.
"Seven," he says. I nod and grab my coffee cup off the counter and then grab my backpack.
"Ready?" I ask. He stands up and we both walk out the door. We hop into Lasercorn's car and head out.

"I'm hungry, are you hungry?" Lasercorn asks. I nod. It was about lunch time, anyway, so it was about time we stopped to eat something. "I think the only thing around is gas stations though."
"That's fine. I'll just get a bag of chips and we can stop when there's an actual restaurant," I say. Lasercorn nods.
He pulls into a little gas station and we both get out of the car. I slam my door and we walk inside. I walk down the aisles trying to pick what kind of chips I wanted. When I finally decide on a bag of Funyuns, I turn and bunk into someone, I fall to the floor.
"Sorry!" Lasercorn says, trying to suppress a laugh. He holds out a hand and I take it. He pulls me up and we both start laughing hysterically. I hand him the bag of chips and I grab a Dr. Pepper from the fridge. We both walk up to the counter, still giggling a little bit. The woman at the counter was a little old lady with greying hair.
"Oh, what a cute couple you two are," she beams.
"Actually, we're, uh, not a couple," I say before Lasercorn says anything.
"Could've fooled me," she says with a little smile. I hold out my twenty dollar bill out to her. She takes it an gives me my change. "Last time I saw anything like you two was with my husband... Have a nice day now." I grab the plastic bag with my junk food in it and walk out to the car.
"Why would she think we're a couple?" I ask Lasercorn. He shrugs and gets in the car. I get in and buckle my seat belt. Lasercorn smiles to himself as he pulls out of the parking lot. "Is it funny to you?"
"Yeah. A little," he says. I give him a disapproving look. He just laughs.

I flop on the bed once we get to the hotel room. I then realize there's only one bed.
"What the hell?" I ask. Lasercorn looks over at me. I get off the bed and stomp over to him. I give him a look that says 'Explain. Now'.
"I swear I booked a room with two beds." He pulls up his phone and I look at the order. He wasn't lying. "I'll go talk to the guy at then front desk and get it settled."
"Thank you," I say. I pull out my phone and text Mark.

Hey. We made it here safely. No problems :D
Great! Glad to hear it. Are you having fun? Is Lasercorn behaving himself? lol
Oh yeah. I gotta go now though. I have to get ready for the concert.
Okay. Have fun! Talk to you later.

"Ella," Lasercorn says coming back into the room.
"Are we moving rooms?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I mean, they're all booked up." I sigh. "I can, uh, just sleep on the floor if you want."
"I don't want you to sleep on the floor, but we definitely can not share a bed. I'll, uh, I'll sleep on the floor," I say. He shakes his head.
"No, I will, it's fine," he says. "I insist." I sigh. "Now go get ready for the concert!" I smile again and go hop into the shower.

We walk a couple blocks to the large building where image concert was being held. We walked in and showed our tickets and a woman scanned them. Then we went through security. Then up some stairs into the large room where the concert was. A DJ was playing on the stage when we got in the room. There was a bar on both sides of the room.
   "You want drinks?" Lasercorn asks.
   "Yeah, sure," I say.
"Stay here. I'll be back," he says walking towards the bar. A girl that looks about sixteen walks up to me.
"I really like your shirt," she says. I look down at my black Panic! T-shirt.
"Thank you. I like yours too." She smiles and walks away. Lasercorn comes back with two beers in his hand. He gives me one and I drink it.

A few beers later, when Panic! At The Disco finally comes on stage, I scream the song lyrics, not even caring that I wouldn't have a voice the next day.

                  Lasercorn's P.O.V.
I watched as Ella danced and sang every song they played. She looks over at me and smiles. I knew she was a little bit drunk, not so much that she couldn't function, but she was obviously drunk.
After the concert, and a few more beers later, Ella and I stumble out of the concert hall. She leans herself on me. I put my arm around her, steadying her a little. We walk to the hotel.
"Thank you, Davey," she says. I chuckle.
   "You're welcome, Ella," I say.
She lies down on the bed pulling the covers over herself. I grab a couple extra blankets I requested and start laying the out on the floor to make a bed for myself.
"Davey," Ella whines. I look over at her. "Don't make a bed on the floor. Come to bed with me."
"Ella," I sigh. "I shouldn't. You and Mark-"
"Mark and I aren't togetherrrr," she slurs.
"I can't, Ella," I say. I lie down on the blankets on the floor.
"Fiiiine," Ella says. She climbs off the bed with the comforter still on her and she lies down next to me.
I wait until she falls asleep to move. I roll over and pick Ella up and she wraps her arms around my neck. She keeps an iron grip on me. I set her down on the bed, expecting her to let go of me. She doesn't.  She pulls me onto the bed with her.
"Don't go, David," she whispers. I don't say anything and just pull her arms off of me and pull the covers over her. I lie back down on the floor and fall asleep.
