My head was pounding, I sat upright on the bed and looked over to the floor. Lasercorn was gone and all the blankets were picked up. I heard the shower shut off and the door opens quietly.
"Good morning," He says. I give him a small smile and look down at my hands.
"Morning." He sits down on the edge of the bed and runs a hand through his wet hair.
"Nothing happened between us last night, if that's what you're thinking," he says. I nod.
"That's the thing... I don't know if I wanted something to happen or if I didn't."
"I... what?" He asks. "You and Mark are-"
"Not together," I finish his sentence. "And yeah, I like Mark, but..."
   "But?" Lasercorn asks.
"You're going to make me spell it out aren't you?" I ask. He smiles deviously and nods.
"I like Mark, but I... I also like you, David." He smiles at me.
"I like you too, Ella," he says. He scoots closer to me on the bed. His face is slowly getting closer and closer to mine. He kisses me slowly and gently. I pull away and stare into his eyes.
"That's the other thing, David, I like you, but I also like Mark."
"I know." He moves away from me and folds his hands together, staring at them. I get out of bed and grab my clothes and into the bathroom to take a shower.

The car ride home wasn't as awkward as I thought. Lasercorn and I basically acted as if nothing happened. He pulls into the parking lot of the apartment building and shuts his car off.
"Um, well... I had a lot of fun. Thank you," I say. He nods and gives me a small hug from the drivers seat of the car. I grab my bag from the backseat and open the car door. I step out of the car and look back at Lasercorn.
"I gotta get to work, but, uh, have fun with the rest of your day," I smile and nod. I slam the car door shut and he pulls out of the parking lot. I walk into my apartment and set my bag on the floor next to the door. I flop onto the couch and stare at the ceiling. Mark or David? David or Mark?
Mark and I definitely had chemistry and he knew how to make me laugh. He was also really sweet and romantic.
David and I had known each other for a long long time and we have had chemistry together too. David was romantic in a different way than Mark. He was funny and smart and knew almost everything about me.
I didn't know who to choose. They both had feelings for me and I for them.
A pounding on the door jolted me awake.
"Ella," a voice sing-songs. I get up and lazily make my way to the door. I open it and see Mari and Courtney standing in the hall.
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask.
"Girls night?" Mari asks. She gives me a smile and holds up a couple bags. "We brought stuff for drinks, make overs, some video games, and snacks."
"Mari and I thought that you needed some girl time. I mean, you've been hanging out with guys so much that you're basically turning into one," Courtney laughs. I smile and move from the doorway. They walk in.
   "What about Olivia?" I ask.
"She was busy tonight," Courtney says. I nod.
"So what do you want to do first?" Mari asks.
"Ooh, ooh," Courtney says jumping up and down like an excited child. "Make overs!" I roll my eyes. I was never one to wear lots of make up, or really any at all.
"Yeah!" Mari says excitedly. She unzips a large make up bag and lays it out on the coffee table. "Who wants to go first?" I shake my head, Courtney volunteers. Mari starts working on her make up. I sit on the couch beside Mari as Courtney sits on the floor in front of Mari. Mari starts doing her make up and I stare off into space thinking about the last time I had a slumber party.

"Kelli, Ella is here," Kelli's mom yells up the stairs. I hold onto my backpack a little tighter. I didn't want to be here and I knew Kelli didn't want me here. My mom was worried because I only ever hang out with David.
"Just tell her to come upstairs, mom," Kelli shouts down the stairs.
"Go on up, sweet pea." I nod and thank her, walking up the stairs and into Kelli's room. Three other girls besides Kelli were sitting on the floor on their sleeping bags.
"Girls, this is Ella," Kelli says. "Ella, this is Halle, Sabrina, and Farrah."
"Hi," I give them a small wave. Farrah rolls her eyes and continues talking to Halle. Sabrina waves awkwardly. Kelli sits on her bed. The other girls join her on her bed.
"Let's play truth or dare," Kelli says. The other girls giggle and agree. "Come on, Ella, sit down." I sit on the edge of her bed. I hated playing truth or dare.
"I'll start!" Halle says. "Ella, truth or dare?"
"Um, truth?" I didn't really want to do any dare they came up with.
"Who do you have a crush on?" She asks. I don't want to tell them. Why would I ever want them to know that.
"Um," I say.
"Come on," Kelli groans. "Spill it."
   "David," I say.
"Moss? Oooh, he's pretty cute," Farrah says. I look down.
"Too cute for her," I hear Halle whisper to Kelli. Kelli giggles and nods. I look down at my hands.
"Your turn to ask, Ella," Kelli says.
"Actually, I have to go to the bathroom. Kelli, just, uh, take my turn for me," I say getting off the bed. Kelli  shrugs then nods and proceeds to ask Farrah truth or dare. I walk out of the room and into the bathroom across the hall.
When I get back into Kelli's room they're doing make overs. "Lets do Ella's make up!" Halle says.
   "No, it's fine. I don't-"
"Don't be silly. It's tradition," Kelli says.
They made me look ridiculous, clown-like. They took pictures and showed them to everyone.
"Ella?" Mari asks. I snap out of my day dream and look over to her. "Do you want us to do your make up?" I shake my head.
"Can we do your hair?" Courtney asks. I nod.
"S-sure," I say. I sit in front of Mari and Courtney on the floor as they curl my hair. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad.
