I wake up the next morning to the smell of bacon and coffee. I throw the covers off myself and get out of bed. Mark's bed. I open the door and walk down the hall into the kitchen. Mark is humming to himself while cooking at the stove, with his back to me. I smirk and quietly approach him.
"Morning!" I shout next to his ear. He screeches and steps away from the stove with his hand over his heart.
"Jesus, Ella, you scared the shit out of me," he says with a slight laugh. I laugh.
"That was the point," I say sitting down on a stool at the counter. He cooks eggs, bacon, and toast. He gives me a plate and sets his down next to me. He sits at the counter and starts eating immediately, shoving fork full after fork full into his mouth. I giggle at him.
"Wha?" he asks with a mouthful.
"Hungry are we?" I ask wiping his chin off with a paper towel. He laughs and looks down at his plate and compares it to mine.
"Little bit," he finally replies. I shake my head and smile at his response.

Once breakfast is finished, Mark and I sit on the couch watching some T.V. show I don't really care about. Mark doesn't seem to like it either.
"Let's do something," he whines laying his head in my lap, looking up at me.
"Like what?" I ask.
"Let's go to the mall, or the park, or the arcade again, or-"
"Alright, alright, we'll do something, but we'll have to go to my apartment for me to take a shower and change," I say.
"Why? You look fine," he says.
"Mark, I need a shower and I wore these clothes yesterday."
He gets up and grabbing his car keys. "Letsa go!" he shouts like Mario. I laugh and we walk out the door together.

We arrive at my apartment building and go inside. I get to my floor and see Lasercorn talking to someone near the stairs. I walk to my door and unlock it.
"Hey, Ella," Lasercorn says walking over to us.
"Hi, Lasercorn," I say. Mark tenses as Lasercorn gets to us.
"Whatcha up to?" he asks.
"Oh, uh, Mark and I are hanging out today, but we came here so I could get ready," I say. He nods, but doesn't say anything.
"Well, Sohinki and I are going to go to the park and catch some Pokemon. Ya know, with Pokemon Go coming out a few weeks ago and all," he says. I nod. I had been playing Pokemon Go with them, but I hadn't battled any gyms because I didn't know what team to pick. Lasercorn and Mari were on Team Instinct, Wes and Flitz were Valor, and Sohinki and Joven were Mystic. I didn't know what team to pick, so I didn't.
"Have fun," I say pulling Mark into my apartment.
"Thank god," I say. "That was awkward." Mark chuckles and nods.

After I shower and get ready, Mark and I take a walk downtown. We walk passed tons of different stores, but I can never get passed the book store without going inside. I point at the store and grab his hand, pulling him inside. I look at all the books and Mark follows me around watching me fan girl over different books and telling him how much I enjoyed the books I saw that I've already read.

We walk down to the park and lie in the grass. I lean my head on Mark's chest. He puts his arm around me. I look up at the blue, cloud filled sky.
"That cloud looks like a dog with two heads," I say pointing to it. Mark chuckles.
"I see it... And that one looks like a dragon." I giggle and nod.

We lay in the grass at the park until nightfall. People started leaving the park as soon as it started to get dark, but Mark and I just lied there enjoying each other's company. Mark's phone dings, then mine does a couple seconds later. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and so do I.
"Some random person tagged me in something on Twitter," he says clicking on it.
"Me too," I say. We both click on the notification and check it out.
"@Markiplier @EllaBearDoesGaming Together? #Ellaplier" They even included a picture of us lying in the park together.
"Oh no," we say in unison.
