I throw the brown file onto the long glass conference table and smile. My first mission complete. Dad pats me on my back gently and Thor laughs, that deep, rumbling laugh. Doctor Banner sits on a black leather chair, smiling and Hawkeye sits beside him, followed by Natasha. Captain jumps onto the table and swings his legs off the edge of the glass, a small smile dancing across his lips.

"Nice job, M'am." Captain teases.

I don't like it when they call me M'am, it makes me sound like a formal business women. Im not that. Yes, Im head of SHIELD but Im an Avenger. Im not a M'am.

"Captain." I scold, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Sor-ry." He sings, smirking.

"Why are you all sat down? Stop being lazy and lets go." I order, raising a finger.

They all stand up straight and stare at me with a questioning look on their faces.

"Where are we going?" Dad asks, brushing his fingers along his moustache.

Dad looks exhausted, with deep black bags under his bloodshot eyes and he always sighs. It must be Sheye, the new baby.

"To get drunk?" I ask to them.

Their faces light up instantly at the thought. I knew this would be fun.

"Only if you're buying the first round." Hawkeye laughs, poking me in the ribs.

"Are you going to allow me to drink for tonight?" Dad questions.

"Just for tonight." I tease, smirking.

I push him away gently and raise my eyebrows at him. We stroll out of the conference room and onto the control floor. My workers are typing on their computers and writing up reports, all dressed in blue body suits.

"Miss Stark?" Someone asks.

I turn to see my assistant, Jake, the boy with the telepathy power, and the Avengers stop too. Jake is wearing a black suit, his midnight black hair is gelled down and it glimmers under the ceiling light. He is carrying an armful of files and seems in a rush.

"Good evening, Jake." I smile.

"Hello, Miss Stark. I have a new mission for you." He announces, handing me another brown folder.

"Do they not do different colours of these?" I question and i hear Captain chuckle behind me.

"Jake, we are going out for drinks as we've just finished our first mission of me as leader. We are going to celebrate that we are all alive. You are welcome to join us, but i don't want to look at another mission yet, please." I explain, placing my hands on his shoulders and staring straight into his curious brown eyes.

"Thank you for the offer, but I have work to do, Miss Stark."

"Okay, but i am not coming in until lunchtime tomorrow, and i bet neither will these guys." I say, pointing behind me. They all nod and i follow them out of the control room.

Zeke is sat at the wooden dining table, running his hands through his hair. I hear drilling and glance over at the living room glass window that is being repaired. I step in and kiss Zeke's neck, smiling at him. He raises his head, from some paper work, his emerald eyes shining.

"Please don't break anymore windows." Zeke begs.

"Aww, you know i can't promise that." I tease, stepping away and walking into the kitchen.

"I've promised the Avengers a night out tonight though, we're celebrating that I didn't kill them on our first mission. Are you coming?" I ask.

"Sure, is your assistant coming too?" He quizzes. I glance over and see he is avoiding eye contact, his eyes burning with jealousy.
