Chapter I. Encounter

Ako si Gwen Martin ang solo hija nina Marcella and Albert Martin na nagpapalakad ng Bluefront Corporation, I took up BSBA in Entrepreneurship and a Master's degree in Business Administration . And this day is the day na ako na ang mamamahala ng company namin. Buong buhay ko ay pinagsumikapan kong mag-aral just for this, to make my parents proud. Sabi nila suplada daw ako and a man-hater, well everything has a reason. I'm not really like this before but I changed when I was hurt by the guy I've loved the most, he left me and married my bestfriend Anna. Since then, I've never believe in love again,ever! 

But I later find out that I love checking girls out, so what does that mean?--

Yes, I'm proud to say that I have changed, I'm a lipstick lesbian but I never told anyone else about my sexuality. I maybe stone-hearted but it takes a great woman to turn my world around.

"Good Morning President Gwen Martin!" as my employee greeted me while I was walking pass through the revolving glass doors.

I smiled at her and head into the Meeting Hall. I was dressed with my best corporate attire and I was filled with so much joy that time.

Nung papalakad ako papunta sa stage ay pinakilala ako ni Dad sa aming mga co-stockholders. 

"Good day everyone, I'm proud to introduce my lovely daughter, Gwen, as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company." habang nakangiti si Dad ay sumabay ang masigabong palakpak ng mga stockholders at mga new investors.

Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto ng speech ko ay muling nagsalita si Dad.

"Before everything else, I also want you to meet our co-partner and investor, Ms. Vine Merell, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Harris Merell." Dad announced

And again nag-applause yung mga businessmen and businesswomen na naroroon.

I was surprised when I saw the very stunning woman walking to the stage to introduce herself, kung hindi ako nagkakamali siya si Vine na childhood friend ko at matagal ko nang di nakikita. Bigla akong natuwa nung lumapit siya sakin at nakipag-shakehands, tulad pa rin siya ng dati yun nga lang bukod sa stunning siya she's smart and independent.

"Gwen?" sabi ng boses ng isang babaeng may American accent pa.

"Vine! I missed you, you surprised me you look so pretty!" sabi ko habang nakikipagbeso beso sa kanya.

"You're gorgeous and amazing too Gwen, it's been a long time ngayon lang pala ulit tayo magkikita, I've been in New York for eight years and now-- finally, I'm back home!" natutuwa nyang sabi sakin habang niyayakap ako na para kameng magbestfriend.

"Welcome back Vine, I'm sure na magiging masaya ka rito!" nakangiti kong sabi habang locking arms with her as we are walking papunta sa backstage.
