Chapter 5

*Newts POV*

It had been at least 2 weeks since i saw Ann. Undressing. There was no way i could look at her the same way again. I hate avoiding her. She probably hates me for just abandoning her.

"Hey Newt!" I hear Minho say as he walks over to me in the gardens.

"Hey" I reply

"Your girlfriend is worried about you, she keeps asking why you're not talking to her. Dude what happened?"

"She's not my girlfriend. I just, well. I accidentally saw her... Changing" I say before turning back to my work

"Is that all?" He laughed

"I like her Minho I can't exactly tell her that and then tell her I accidentally watched her undress."I say

"If you don't tell her, I will. She's in the meadow" he said before walking off

I sighed and after a few minutes of work I decided to go talk to Ann. I hope she isn't too mad.

I walked into the wood toward the meadow. There she was sitting in the flowers.

"Ann?" I spoke. She turned her head and just looked at me

"Newt" she said harshly

"I'm sorry I've been avoiding you lately" I said looking down at my feet

"Then why did you?" She had walked over to where I was standing

"I don't know.." I lied

"Yes you do. Otherwise you wouldn't have done it" she looked me straight in the eyes

"I uh.. I saw you. Changing." I avoided her eyes

"Really?" She asked, I nodded rubbing the back of my neck

"I thought you hated me. And you tell me it's because you saw me half naked"

"You're not mad?" I looked at her

"Why would I be mad? It's only natural, I mean I saw you changing" she blushed

"What? When?"

"The other day, I wanted to ask you why you weren't talking to me and your door was open slightly" her face had gotten redder, as well as mine.

"We should probably start shutting out doors all the way. We aren't even together"

"Yeah. Um we should probably get back, before Gally comes and looks for us"

"Oh speaking of Gally, what did he say to you that night?" I asked

"Oh.. He told me he'd be watching me, and I just got uncomfortable."

"Oh"

"I mean if I want to kiss you that's up to me" I stopped in my tracks as we walked back to The Glade

"Wait you like me?"

"Well yeah." She blushed and turned around

I moved closer to her and held her hand looking into her eyes watching her blush, slowly leaning into her as she came closer. Finally. Our lips touched, I had expected her to pull away but no. We kissed, the world just seemed to fade away. As if there was no world at all, not even The Glade. I forgot about everything, except her.
