Chapter 5: The Sassy Lady

Nicole's POV:

Hello, Benson University. Your goddess has returned. I am Nicole Santos, the most beautiful girl in campus.

Call me whatever you want. A bitch? A slut? I don't care. You can never defy me in this school. Marami akong connections kaya isang tawag ko lang, pwede ka ng matanggal sa eskwelahan.

So you better watch out.

After kong magpark ng kotse ko, lumabas ako at narinig ko na ang mga boses ng mga lalaki. Mga lalaking patay na patay sakin.

"Uy dre! Si Nicole Santos andito na ulit!"

"Oo nga noh! Ang ganda nya pa rin."

"At napakasexy pa!"

A little smile escaped my lips. I really enjoyed the compliments they give me. Pero, hanggang ngayon, wala pang lalaking nagpangiti sakin ng tunay. Yun bang smile na genuine. Na kahit corny or hindi yung compliment, eh nangingiti ka pa rin.

Always smile, Kankan! I'll always be here! :)

There's that little voice again...

I walked along the campus. I'm headed to my department--the College of Teacher Education Department.

I reached the place in no time, at grabe ah. Lumawak na din ang department na to.

Kung tatanungin mo ko kung bakit ako nag educ, hindi to dahil sa gusto ko. My parents forced me into this. They said this is to teach me a lesson. I still don't get what they mean.

I reached my classroom. When I opened the door, may 4 na lalaki ang naka upo sa unahan. May bakante pa sa tabi nila.

"Friend, ang ganda ni ate!"

"Yah! Talbog beauty natin." *__*

Natawa naman ako sa reactions nila. Pero the way they talk sounds like they don't want me here. I don't mind. Una na sa lahat, I'm a bitch and I don't need your sorry opinions about me.

Though I wish people would at leas try to get to know me more before even judging me.

I glanced at the guy beside me. Hmmm... Nerd ata to... Haha

Pero, bakit parang kilala ko sya? Nagkita na ba kami?

Drix's POV:

It was just another day. Classes went on as usual. Frankly, today was soooo boring. -___-

Well, at least I think it was. A new girl entered our class. The only thing is that hindi ko sya feel kausapin. She looks to sassy, and I'm not into that kind of person. Masyadong maarte.

She reminds me of someone, though.

She looks familiar, but I can't seem to remember her.

We dropped by a local diner, para kumain ng dinner.

"Huy! Earth to Drix?"

I snapped out of my thoughts.

Me: Huh? What?

Martin: There he is. Ano? Ano na naman yang iniisip mo?

Me: Ah, wala. Iniisip ko lang yung mga requirements natin.

JL: Puro ka naman requirements eh. Unwind for once, man.

Carlo: Hulaan ko. Iniisip mo yung Nicole, di ba?

What the...? Paano nya nalaman yun? Psychic ba tong taong to? O__o

Me: No, I'm not!

I sounded a bit desperate. Great! There goes my chance to keeping it to myself. -__-

Martin: Hah.. Ayos ah.. Napakadefensive mo naman.. Is there something na gusto mong sabihin samin? :p

I guess it won't hurt to tell them. They're my friends after all. :)

Me: Alright, you got me. I'm thinking about her, but it's because she reminds me of someone I know.

Martin: Maybe, may gusto ka sa kanya! :D

Me: What? No. Yun lang talaga

Carlo: Woshoo! Maniwala sayo. Hahaha...

JL: 3rd day of classes and eto ka at nanchichix agad. XD

I love you, Karly! We'll get married when we grow up, okay? :D

I decided to go home.

Me: Guys, I gotta go. Kelangan ko na makausap yung kapatid ko.

Martin: Yung twin sister mo? Pakilala mo naman ako, dre. :P

Chickboy talaga! -___-

Me: Baliw! Sa iba ka na lang wag lang sa kapatid ko. :P

Palibhasa maganda si Kayla, andaming lalaking nagkakandarapa para ligawan sya. Ewan ko ba dun kung bakit lahat na halos ng lalaking gustong manligaw, tinurn down lang nya. Choosy talaga.

Well, bilang mas matanda sa kanya (ng 7 seconds lang naman), it is my rightful duty to assess every single guy who wants to court her. Even make their lives miserable if necessary.

(Author: Choosy na babae, tapos overprotective na kuya. Oh diba? Perfect combination. Hahaha.)
