Chapter 6: Intelligent Idiots

Nicole's POV:

(The next day)

Me: I gotta go, couz. Malate pa ko.

Andre: Alright. Ingat sa daan, ah. :)

I drove off to school. Since I wasn't present the past 2 days of classes, nagulat na lang ako dahil andami na nilang nadiscuss sa klase. =__=

How am I supposed to catch up to every one of them? Tapos may quiz pa sa math at sa English namin. *Sigh*

I guess I'm gonna fail the quizzes today. -__-

30 minutes later, I came to my classroom, and heto ang scene agad na nakita ko: Ang mga kaklase kong lalaki eh pinapalibutan ng girls sa section namin AT pati na rin sa kabila. -___-

Seriously, can't they take their bitchiness outside?

The girls are really getting on my nerves.

The boys? Well. Ang galing lang eh. Yung isa, enjoy sa pakikipagflirt sa girls. Yung isa naman, nakasmile lang at medyo naakward na sya. Yung isa naman nakangiti rin, at mukhang comedian sya. Tawa much naman ang mga babae.

The guy with the glasses caught my attention. He 's busy reading his notes, even if girls are swarming around him. Estudyanteng tunay! Haha.

I tried to get to my seat, pero imposible. -__-

Nakapalibot sila eh.

Me: Excuse me. That's my seat.

Girl 1: Oh, sorry.

Umalis naman sya. But I still see her.looking at me while I'm fixing my stuff. Suddenly, bigla syang sumigaw.

Girl 1: OMG!!! SI NICOLE SANTOS PALA TO!!

Wow. Talk about hysterics. Grabe makareact. Well I know naman na maganda ako. Haha.

Girl 2: Hala! Oo nga sis. Sya nga!

"Is something the matter, Ms. Danilyn?"

Biglang pasok ni Sir Mark, ang math teacher. And the first subject had to be math. -__-

After an hour and a half, we finished the test. Which I could describe as hellishly painstaking. T^T

Only Carlo didn't have a hard time. It only took him 15 minutes to finish the 1-hour test. Tapos yung results, 70/70 lang naman.

Next class was a graded recitation in humanities. Wala pa man din akong alam sa discussion masyado. *Sigh*

Mukhang si Martin lang ang nakakarecite ng isang buong chapter sa libro namin. Kumusta naman ang memory? -__-

Next was Social Science. Philippine history pa man din eh wala akong alam maliban kay Rizal. Buti na lang at discussion lang, kaya naman ligtas ako sa anumang quiz. Finally, a breather!

Si JL lang ang nakakasagot sa mga deep questions ng prof. Happy naman si professor sa galing nya sa history.

And finally, English. Advanced grammar and composition ang subject namin. Ok naman ako sa test dito. I'm quite fluent with the language, so no worries sa grammar. :)

Yet somehow, si Drix lang ang nakasagot ng perfect sa mga grammar questions na mabibigat.

Come to think of it, sya lang yata sa kanilang apat ang may kakayanan sa halos lahat ng subjects. Grabe ang galing nya.

(After classes)

I stopped by a local diner na malapit sa school. I know na sosyal ako, pero wala naman akong arte sa pagkain. Ayoko na munang kumain dun sa bahay ng pinsan ko. Dun din ako tumutuloy kasi wala pa akong makitang maayos na condo unit or bahay.

I was busy choosing what to eat, when suddenly, someone grope my ass. O__O

I turned around and saw a guy with a disgusting look. I scowled at him , but to no good. Hinawakan nya ulit. This time, I got pissed off. >:(

Me: Hey! Would you stop that!

Guy: Oh, miss. Alam ko namang gusto mo yun. Pakipot ka pa eh.

Me: Pwede ba, lubayan mo ako! And do you even know who I am?

Bitch mode: ON!

Guy: Aba, at nag-eenglish pa ah. Ayos to.

Aalis na ako ng diner, pero sumunod sya. Pagdating ko sa labas, sumusunod pa din sya. Napansin ko na di pala sya nag-iisa. 4 silang lalaking sumunod sakin.

Tumakbo na ko, pero naabutan nila ako.

Me: Let go of me!

Guy: Sige na miss, pahalik naman dyan.

Me: NO!!!

Inilalapit nya labi nya sakin. Pumikit na lang ako. Hinintay kong dumampi sya pero napansin kong ang tagal naman. Binuksan ko ang isa kong mata.

Si kuya. Nakahiga na.

Then I saw a guy beat up the other underlings.

Bagsak sila lahat. Lumapit sakin yung lalaking nagligtas sakin.

"Okay ka lang ba?"

That voice sounds familiar. Drix?

Drix: Wait. Aren't you the new girl? Nicole Santos?

Me: Yeah. Thanks for saving me.

Drix: It was nothing. Bakit mag-isa ka lang dito? Delikado na ngayon.

I told him what happened. Then we went back to the diner.

Drix: I suggest that you shouldn't go alone at this time of night. Dapat may kasama ka.

Me: Can't help it. Nakakaabala na din ako sa pinsan ko eh. Nakikitira lang naman ako.

Then we moved on to less serious topics. He's easy to get along with. Ang layo ng image nyang ganito sa image nya sa school. He's the quiet type but he is a good friend to be with.

Inescort na nya ako papunta sa car ko. Baka daw balikan ako nung mga manyak.

Drix: See you tomorrow.

And with that , I waved and he left.

He's a nice guy. :)

"Kankan, ang pangit mo naman!"

"Yaah! Hindi yan totoo."

He's just like you. I miss you so much.
