Chapter 12: A New Idiot?

Drix's POV:

A month has passed since Carlo became the basketball team's captain. I don't why, but our group is now famous in our department. And since mostly girls ang nandito, we became more well-known. Come to think of it, wala masyadong lalaking kumukuha ng education. And even if there was, most likely bakla yun.

It's a Wednesday, and in our schedule, this is the day with only 2 classes. By 9:30 am, labasan na kami. :D

And since maaga pa, naisipan nina Nicole na pumunta kaming siyam sa Mall of Asia. We all agreed.

Pagdating namin dun, our first destination is Time Zone.

We split into pairs. Me and Nicole, Carlo and Lianne, Martin and Angie (God bless you, Martin), and the comedic trio--JL, Bel, and Genny.

Me and Nicole spent most of our time on one game--The House of the Dead 4. Hirap kaming tapusin yung game, pero masaya naman. It's amusing to see Nicole cringe when her character gets damaged. It's cute. :)

Nicole: *while holding the light gun* Oh, you've gotta be kidding me. -__-

Me: Why? What's wrong?

Nicole: How are you able to win this game with no sweat?

Looking at the screen, she was right. I'm beating her in terms of points.

Me: Well, I can't blame myself for being good. :)

Nicole: Ha ha... -__-

We spent the whole day like this. Just having fun. Without a care. Hahaha! :)

Kumain pa kami sa isang BBQ house at nag-asaran pa ulit ng marami. XD

Of course, our very own comedians take the stage. XD

JL and Bel--the best, corny people around.

JL: Anong kampana ang minamahal ko? :D

Us: Ano?

JL: Eh di, *turns to Bel* si Bel. :D

Genny: Uyyy... May something... :D

Bel started blushing so much. Hmmm... Looks like someone is falling for the funny man. :D

Bel: Bolerong ugok! Tumigil ka nga sa mga pick-up lines mo.

Hahaha. She's so affected. XD

After all the fun, we called it a day and went to the parking lot to find our cars. Habang naglalakad kami, bigla kaming hinarang ng isang grupo. They're all people that seem to be in our age, but what's disturbing is that they look like they want to cause trouble. We better get out of here.

Me: Uhm, mga boss. Pwede bang dumaan na kami? Kelangan na naming umuwi. Delikado na ngayon.

Gangster: Huh. Hindi pwede. Iwan nyo na lang yung mga babae samin. Kami na ang bahala sa kanila.

Sh*t. We gotta move. They're coming near us. There are 14 of them. The four of us can't handle every one of them. We can't include the girls in this. But, we have to fight. We're surrounded.

Looks like these guys are going to beat us up just to get the girls. We won't let that happen.

They all charged us at once. We fought back. We ordered the girls to get away. They complied.

We fought long and hard, but we're taking too much damage. I've been hit like 6 times already. I feel like I can barely keep up with this.

The four of us are getting beaten. Due to the size and number, we would lose. I have to think of something immediately, but what?

Suddenly--

Unknown Person: Hey!

Gangster: Huh? *hit*

A stranger just suddenly punched one of the gangsters. O__O

He fought with us. Since, he took down 6 of them by surprise, we were able to fight back.

The gangsters fled when they saw that most of them were beaten up.

Martin: Ha! Puro kayo salita!

I was tasting my own blood, now. Man, that hurts. -__-

Nicole: Karl, are you ok?

Me: Yeah. Don't worry. *spitted blood*

I suddenly remembered. The guy who helped us.

Me: *turned to the stranger* Thanks for backing us up.

Stranger: No problem. Kita ko namang hirap kayo, so I came to lend a hand.

This guy looks familiar.

Me: Are you from Benson University?

Stranger: Yep. I know who you guys are. Kayo yung kaaway ni Darwin Benson, di ba?

Me: Yeah.

Stranger: I like your guts in challenging him. :)

He looks really familiar.

Me: Are you and Education student, too? What's your name?

The stranger smiled.

Stranger: I'm Allan Villaverde. Also known as Al. Nice to meet you guys! :)

Allan Villaverde. A new idiot?

Who is he?

Is he going to be part of the campus idiots?
