Chapter 20: Angry Idiots

Nicole's POV:

Ugh... My head.

I stood up from the bed I was lying on, only to find Angie and Lianne on the same bed.

Where are we? Mukhang nasa isang abandoned warehouse kami. I can faintly remember what happened. We were kidnapped.

Nasa isang room kami ngayon. Mukhang quarters ng mga workers ito, since may bed dito.

Suddenly, the door swung open. And I saw our abductors.

Henchman: Boss, mukhang gising na ang mga to.

Tumayo na rin bigla sina Lianne at Angie.

Boss: Mabuti naman at gising na kayo. *smiles evilly*

Nicole: Who are you? What do you want from us?

Boss: Wala akong kelangan sa inyo, pero ang nagbayad sakin para kunin kayo, meron.

Dun ko lang napansin na may tao sa likod nya. I eyed the person behind him. Why does he look familiar?

Their boss stepped in and we all gasped in shock to find out who he is.

Angie: Ikaw?! Pero--?

Lianne: No!

Ako: Al? Bakit?

Al smiled crookedly. His smile is different to the one he wears when he's with the gang. Sincere.

But now, ibang tao ang nasa harap namin. He's evil.

He stared at us for a few moments, then he spoke.

Al: Hello girls.

Angie: Walang hiya ka! We all thought you were our friend! Turns out traydor ka pala!

I can see Angie fuming in rage.

Al: Oh... Is that supposed to scare me? Haha! Now, magagawa ko na ang trabaho ko ng ayos. I'll lure your precious friends here and pick them off one by one.

He took out a knife and he slides it on my skin.

Al: I'll take pleasure in killing you all.

I scoffed at him.

Ako: You think you can have your way? You haven't seen those 4 guys real capabilities unlike we have.

Al: I don't care. I'm a professional killer. A bunch of students won't stand a chance against me.

He pulled me by the hair, causing me to flinch in pain.

Al: Magdudusa kayong lahat.

He let go of me and ordered his men to guard us. They stepped out of the room and locked the door.

Angie: I don't understand. Why would he be mad at us?

Ako: I don't know. How are we gonna get out of here?

Lianne: We shouldn't.

Napatingin ako kay Lianne.

Lianne: Sa assessment ko, sila yung tipong hindi tayo basta basta patatakasin. And pag tumakas tayo, God knows  what they would do to us if they catch us again.

I sat back on the bed. What are we gonna do?

And I also noticed...

Al's eye color. It's different.

Genny's POV:

Andito kami ngayon sa bahay namin. Nabalitaan namin kung ano nangyari kina Nicole. And now, andito kami at nagpaplano kung paano sila ililigtas. We're aware na dapat ireport muna namin to sa pulis, kaso they haven't been gone for 24 hours, so di pa sila considered na missing.

And for the first time in my life, nakita ko ang mga boys with burning anger in their eyes. Medyo natakot pa nga ako eh. Pero I understand what they feel. They're my friends too. And I don't want anything bad to happen to them.

And this is the first time that I saw Drix in a very silent mood. He doesn't talk much, except yung one or two words lang.

Everyone's been busy thinking how to rescue them. Only Al wasn't with us. He said that he has family affairs to attend to.

Suddenly, Drix's phone rang. A blocked number. Sinagot nya agad.

Drix: Hello? Who's this?

He put it on loud speaker so everyone could here.

A man with a voice changer answered.

Kidnapper: Hello, dear kids. Kung gusto nyo na maligtas tong mga kaibigan nyo, sundin nyo ang bawat instructions ko.

We all kept silent and waited for him to continue.

Kidnapper: Mr. Carlo De Jesus, we want you to go to the abandoned warehouse that is located in the far end of the city. You'll know when you get there. You must come alone. If you involve any authorities, I won't hesitate to kill your friends. Come alone, and I will exchange you for them.

What? Bakit si Carlo?

Drix: This is Mr. Hendrix. Before we comply, we must have some sort of assurance that you will be true to your word and that you will release the girls.

Kidnapper: Oh? Assurance? Alright then. What sort of assurance?

Drix: We want to talk to them.

The phone was still on. Then, there was a minute of silence until a female voice answered.

Nicole: Guys! Help us!

Angie: Let go of me!

Lianne: Please! Enough.

Drix, Martin, and Carlo fumed with anger. JL looked so worried.

Kidnapper: We won't hurt them. Just give us De Jesus and we will give them to you.

The phone hanged up.

Bel: Drix. What were you thinking?

Drix didn't reply. He has his eyes closed.

Bel: Are you listening to me? Bakit ka pumayag sa gusto nila? Hahayaan mong makuha si Carlo? At tsaka--

JL cut him off.

JL: Bel, kumalma ka. Drix has a plan, right?

We all looked at him. He opened his eyes and looked at us.

Drix: I do. Sorry for this, but Carlo?

He looked at Carlo with a very serious look.

Drix: You have to go in alone.

Carlo: What?

Carlo was asked to go in alone.

What's Drix's plan? How will our brave idiots rescue the girls?

We'll see that in the next chapter!
