Ava's POV
We arrived back at the bunker and for some reason, I feel like I'd missed out on something. Dean was acting a bit weird. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's something there. The same goes for Sam. They're both acting peculiarly.
After taking a shower and changing clothes, I decided to go and talk to Dean and figure out what was wrong. I knocked on his door while slowly opening it to get his attention. He had his big headphones on and was probably listening to some type of rock music. I closed the door and sat on his bed. I signaled him to take his headphones off. He looked at me weirdly, since I'd never actually been in either one of their rooms before.
"What's up, A? You okay?" Dean asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
"I'm fine. The question is, are you okay?" I asked him curiously.
"You've been acting weird since we got back from the hunt. Did something happen?" I gave him a concerned look.
"No, I'm fine," Dean answered in a monotone voice.
"Dean we both know you're not. You can trust me. I'm here to help, remember?" There was some truth in my words.
I mean, I can't deny it. I've gotten close to these guys. They are sincerely good, something I'm not, and they're trying their best to do good, another thing I'm not trying to do.
My emotions are so fucked right now.
He looked down at his lap and then looked up at me again. He looked so broken. I just wanted to hug him to death, which is a weird thing for me to even think about.
"It's about The darkness. I've already told Sammy. That's why he was acting a bit weird too." I nodded at him urging him to continue.
"When I'm here I feel like I can kill her, but when I'm close to her I just can't... it's like we're connected..." He trailed off.
"So you're in love with her? Is she the woman that creature turned into?" I asked him calmly.
"Yes she is... but it's not love. I do not love her. I think it some kind of need I have deep inside me." He said barley above a whisper.
"A need to feel loved?" I said as I laid my hand gently on his thigh. He nodded slowly.
"I just... I... I've tried to kill her, but I just can't. So I think if we're going to kill her you'll have to do it without me." He looked down at his lap, looking ashamed.
"Hey, hey. Dean." I lifted his chin so he looked at me.
"It's not your fault. It's because of the mark. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Sammy and I are with you every step of the way." I smiled at him.
He gave me a weak smile back.
"I can't get her out of my head. I want her dead, but then again I don't." He looked so torn.
I hugged him close to me. My emotions were all over the place. It was like being a teen again.
When we let go our eyes met.
"It sounds like we need to find something to distract you," I whispered.
"What...?" He asked softly, searching for something in my eyes.
"Let me help distract you from... her." My words slowly trailed off as I leaned in and kissed him.
He froze for a second, then he started to kiss me back.
Quite forcefully may I add.
He pushed me over so he was on top of me, without breaking the kiss. This felt so wrong, but so right at the same time.
I pressed myself closer to him making him groan into our kiss.
His hands slid down my body to my ass. I felt him squeeze it tightly. I gasped into the kiss in response. He took the opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth.
I moaned as our tongues melted together. The situation quickly got heated. One thing led to another and I had the best night of my life
---------
"Oh god." I heard Dean groan as laid beside me.
"Ava will do just fine," I chuckled as I let out a pleasing sight.
"What?" He smiled at me.
"Ava. That's my name." I said and cuddle close to him.
He put his arms around me and kissed the top of my head.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He smiled against my hair. I snuggled up to his chest and fell asleep in his arms.
