Ava's POV
Here I am sitting in something that looks like a glass cage. I feel helpless, but at the same time fascinated by what's happening around me. I can hear and see everything, but I can't control anything. My body sat up from the table and started talking by itself.
What's happening to me?...
Lucifer started to talk about something I didn't quite understand, until my body or whatever was going on, started changing attitude.
My soul is fractured and the other parts of me locked my human side in here to watch them fuck my life up.
Just my luck... I started to slam my fists against the glass wall, only to discover that they couldn't hear me, or see me. They couldn't help me. I was completely and utterly alone.
I have to get the control of my body back long enough to tell them that I'm still here.
That I'm okay... or as okay as I can be in this situation.
I may be fractured for a while, but I'm still me... I'm Ava. This part of me, the human side, may not have all my emotions. But I've got some of them. Please let them be enough for now.
They left me in the chamber or whatever they like to call it. My demon side is currently in control and I can hear what she's thinking. I can't do anything about what she's going to do... so why not just sit back and watch.
My hands moved and ripped the chains off. She stood up and pushed the door open.
Suddenly she whispered. "Let's take the long way around." Like she knew I was listening.
She walked towards the garage. The door creaked when she opened it. She jumped on my bike and drove to the closest bar. There were a lot of people dancing.
My demon side is as bad and lustful as she is, started to dance with some guys, grinding up against them.
I wasn't very fond of it since I love Lucifer. But there's something different about my demon side. I could sense that she wanted someone else but I don't know who...
I'll just have to wait and see.
She walked over to the bar and sat down on one of the stools, after dancing for what felt like hours. She waved at the bartender and said that she wanted a glass of bourbon. She drank it quietly. Taking one slow sip after another. She seemed to be deep in thought. I couldn't tell what she was thinking. Maybe she can hide her thoughts from me if she wants to? or maybe she just let me hear her thoughts that one time.
Suddenly a man sat on the stool beside us. There was something about him that seemed familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. He had dark brown hair, a beard, and blue eyes.
He wasn't very tall. He was wearing a white sweater and a dark green jacket.
He turned towards me and smiled.
What is it with this guy?
She seemed interested, almost fascinated by him.
She stared directly at him without any shame.
"Hello, Ava." He said and smiled at me while sipping on his beer.
"How do you know my name?" She asked on high alert.
"I have extended knowledge about a lot of things. I know a lot about you. I've been watching over you for years." He laughed a quiet laugh.
What the actual fuck.
"Who are you?" She asked getting angry. Her eyes flashed red.
"Yeah, I almost forgot about the whole 'fractured soul' thing." He looked her in the eyes and slowly lifted his hand, and put one finger on my forehead.
Suddenly I felt like I smashed through the glass and was thrown into the stool. I almost fell off it.
I was in control again. I lifted my hand as if I'd never been in a body before.
"Are we going to have a civil conversation now?" He smiled at me. I laughed.
Then looked at him in a serious manner.
"When you tell me who you are and what you did to make me have control again," I smirked at the mysterious man.
