Ava's POV

I turned around and looked at the boys.

The tension in the room could choke a man.

The uproar outside had stopped, Rowena and Crowley were nowhere to be seen.

I slowly walked over to the boys, forgetting that I still looked quite intimidating. Dean was helping Castiel up from the floor as I approached them. As I stood in front of them they all took an immediate step back.

Dean took a protective stance in front of Sam and Castiel.

"I am still me guys. I'm still Ava." I said calmly trying not to provoke any of them.

Dean gave me a stern look. Studying me closely as if I was about to snap at them at any given moment.

I sighed remembering that I've got big red wings now and I believe my eyes have gotten another color too. I haven't really had the time to look in the mirror.

I relaxed for a few seconds, took a deep breath, and imagined myself as I used to be. A Bright light appeared around me and I felt a little pain in the area where my shoulder blades are. I opened my eyes to see that my wings were gone.

"What... what did you do to him?..." I heard Castiel's voice say hoarsely behind Dean.

He stumbled a bit forward, pushing Dean aside, and looked me straight in the eyes expecting an answer, but I didn't know if I had one to give him.

"I don't... I don't know." I stuttered a bit.

The blankness in Castiel's eyes was trying to hide his sadness, but I could see it clear as day.

"I am truly sorry Castiel. I only did what he wanted me to do... You heard what he said. He planned this..." I said truthfully.

I laid my hand over my heart.

"You know he's still here. Right here, with me. With all of us. All the time." I smiled weakly at him.

I exhaled quickly as if I was holding my breath. I transformed back.

I took a lot of me to do that after all that has happened today.

"This is who I am now. I'm responsible for everything. I can't believe I once was a girl owning a small shop down the street and ending up becoming this..." Gesturing towards my new body.

I let out a chuckle, my wings stretching out behind me as I laughed.

"It's a weird sensation you know? Having wings. I don't understand how you deal with them all the time Castiel. Maybe you can teach me?" I said and smiled at him.

He gave me a weak smile, but it was gone as fast as it came.

"I don't even know if I remember how to use them properly. I've only had them back for a few days."

I took a step closer to him.

"I've been meaning to talk to you about that." He slowly lifted his head.

He seemed interested, a little hit of hope was clear in his eyes.

Sam and Dean listened closely. They were standing right behind him.

"I have a proposal for you. Since I am the new 'Miss Almighty'. I'll need a right hand. So I was wondering if you would become my first archangel?"

Castiel looked confused, then his whole being lit up.

He kneeled down on one knee and said: "It would be an honor to work by your side, my lord."

He said in his normal scruffy voice, but I could hear the happiness in it.

"Stand up." I grabbed his arm and helped him up.

"Never call me 'lord', I am Ava, just Ava. We are equals. And you, my friend, you bow down to no one." I smiled at him.

I lifted both of my hands and put them on either side of his head. A bright light appeared.

Castiel let out a loud scream. It echoed through the room. Dean was about to interfere but Sam stopped him.

I nodded thankfully at Sam and he returned an understanding look.

A shadow appeared on the wall, it was a pair of giant beautiful black wings. They belonged to Castiel.

Sam and Dean watched in amazement. They probably haven't seen them in a long time.

I removed my hands and Castiel stood there staring into nothingness for a minute. Then he shook his head and looked at his hands.

"You now have the power that all the other archangels possessed and a little extra." I smiled at him.

He is now who he was meant to be all along.

"Castiel can you please step aside? I need to speak to The Winchester." He nodded and moved aside or more like floated.

Looks like he's enjoying his new profound powers. I gave him a humorous smile and walked up to the Winchesters.

"Hello, boys. We've got a lot to talk about...
