Grace's POV:

It had been about ten days since the nightmare happening, I didn't think about it much now.

Shawn and I had once again gotten closer. He was slowly regaining my trust back, and it seemed he was happier now than he was before.

I was in the middle of America's Funniest Videos when my phone buzzed on the cushion beside me. I groaned and waited to finish the clip, then paused the episode and grabbed my phone.

Shawn: Hey what are you doing in twenty minutes?

I quickly unlocked my phone, confused on why he's asking.

Grace: Nothing ?

I turned it back off and pressed play, only to stop it again one minute later.

Shawn: Do you think you could meet me at the frozen yogurt place down town?

Grace: Sure, I'll see you there

I decided not to question it because Shawn did random things like this all the time. Who knows, maybe he's lonely and really craving some good fro-yo.

I took extra money just in case he was broke and accidentally overfilled his cup, as usual, and started my walk down the street. My parents were currently out so I brought my key along with me and locked my door.

Grace: Omw

I sent Shawn a quick text first, slipping it back into my pocket.

The place was only about fifteen minutes away so I wasn't worried about being late.

It was fairly warm outside for March in Canada, being forty-five degrees. I dressed in a thin long sleeved shirt with no coat, because I could practically tan in this weather.

My Converse laced my feet, which already had mud on them even though I've only owned them for a month now. Oh well.

I checked my phone once more as I neared the shop, making sure I wasn't late. I had seven minutes left, which was perfect timing. I smiled and continued on, stopping a few more times to look at displays in windows.

The frozen yogurt place seemed very quiet as I stepped in, Shawn sitting down a booth with no yogurt. I was surprised, because it was warm outside and no one was taking advantage of frozen yogurt in our town.

"Forgot your money again?" I laughed, sitting down beside him as I waited for a response. He just chuckled and stood up, rubbing his hands on his pants.

Why is he suddenly so nervous?

"Shawn," I said softly, "What's going on?"
