"Move her out the way!" The cop said.
Another one came to take me away.
"Come with me, we're going to go on a trip."
He took me into his police car and drove to a nearby ice cream shop. He walked in and came back, handing me an ice cream cone. I licked at my vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, enjoying it's taste.
"You want to tell me what happened."
Continuing to eat it I ignored him, out of fear. He stared warily at my hand, and gave me multiple napkins to wrap around my hand and the cone. Looking down I saw why, he didn't want the blood to mix in. I stopped licking the ice cream when I realized that.
"Will you tell me?"
"If I tell, will I be in trouble?"
"No, you won't."
Swallowing, I looked outside the window, around the car, and back to him.
"Back in the house, do you know what happened?"
A few seconds passed, but I remained silent. Finally I gathered the courage and told him.
"It was me." I said silently.
Waking up I could hear the trickling of water, and opened my eyes to see a creek in front of me. Looking around I couldn't see River anywhere. Quickly I got up, I opened my mouth to call his name but decided against it. It's best not to draw attention to myself, I don't know what's out here.
