Vanessa’s P.O.V.

“That was wicked!” Harry happily said as he got out of the car and slammed the car door shut.

“It was wicked for you Harry, not for the poor family of squirrels that you nearly decapitated.” I said with a chuckle.

“Whatever Ness, we both know that they shouldn’t have been there in the first place.”

“Even though we were travelling along a road that was lined with the forest?” I asked him with a raised eyebrow as he made his way to my side of the car.

“Exactly! It was a forest. Everybody knows that squirrels belong up in the trees. It was their decision to come down to the earth. They knew that they were basically signing their own death warrant by deciding to travel on the ground!” He explained, leaning against the front hood of the car with the keys in his hand so that he could lock it and set the alarm.

Harry decided it was time to put the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder to the test. Fortunately for us, because the house was surrounded by the forest the roads were pretty much deserted, meaning that Harry could speed through the roads as fast as he wanted without a care in the world.

I mean, unless you’re a small and furry woodland creature.

Anyways,he easily reached over 100 miles per hour just going down the long driveway at the house, so when faced with the empty country like lanes he pushed the cars pedal to the metal and went well over 150 miles per hour.

“Whatever Harry,” I said laughing at his absurd explanation. “Your just lucky that the cars still in tip-top perfect condition.” I told him, snatching the keys out of his hand.

“You know Ness, it is not nice to snatch.” He scolded me, at the same time wagging his finger at me.

“You know Hazza, it is not nice to point.” I replied, scolding him all the same except without the added finger wagging making him crack a smile. “Now get up, I want to go check this town out.” I said whilst grabbing his hand and pulling him up from leaning on the hood of my car.

We had made it into town about five minutes ago and it wasn’t anything amazing I would say. It definitely had everything that you needed like supermarkets, parks, shops, a mall, and other things like that, but for a city girl, like I was, it was a big change of scenery, but that did not mean that I did not find it appealing in its own way. Right now we were on, what I would call a High-street. There were shops lining each side of the road, all of which I intended to go in to see what they had to offer.

Harry had parked right at the entrance of the High-street so we had easy access to the car and the shops, however we did pass a car park before we decided just to plant the car there as there were no signs saying it was not allowed, and there were no double yellow lines preventing us from doing so.

“Wow, no manners and demanding. Could you get anymore unappealing?” He questioned slinging his arm over my shoulder.
