Chapter 16
Asher's P.O.V.
"There is no way in hell that I can do all of these!" I said, raising my voice at the end in frustration. Sighing I closed my eyes and ran a hand through my hair. Once again looking down at the papers scattered on my desk I scanned over them, digesting all the information once again.
The papers were all linked to a certain individual. My beautiful mate. Vanessa Grace James. Even her name was enough to make me smile. Currently I had her transcripts, grades and schedule infront of me along with mine which broke me from my happy state.
"Why does she have to be so smart?" I muttered to myself, basically coming out of my mouth drenched in my own sadness and self pity.
"Stop being such a baby. You should be grateful that you have an intelligent and beautiful mate instead of some good looking yet stupid barbie bimbo!" Katie told me, giving me the you-know-that-I-am-right-so-don't-mess-with-me stare. It was uncomfortably intimidating coming from one of the shortest girls I know.
"I know, I know, but still. How am I meant to protect her and keep an eye on her if I can't even transfer into her classes!? There's no way that I can do that many A.P. classes! There's no way anyone should even be able to do that many A.P. classes! I'm getting stressed out just looking at the names!" I was so frustrated that my only plan to get close to her was backfiring before I was even able to get close to her!
"Calm down bro. Listen. Tell me what classes she has. I'm sure that there's something that we can work out." Tyler said, re-adjusting himself on the couch, but still keeping his arm securely wrapped around Katie's shoulder.
"Ok. On Day A she has Period 1 : AP Music, Period 2 : AP Christian Religious Studies, Lunch, Period 3 : AP French and then Period 4 : AP Calculus BC.
Then on Day B she has Period 1 : AP Biology, Period 2 : AP English, Lunch, Period 3 : AP Chemistry and
Period 4 she has Gym.So? What do you think?" I questioned Tyler and Katie.
"You're undeniably and irrevocably without a doubt screwed." Tyler answered, a cheeky grin taking shape upon his face which I intended to wipe, smack or punch off his face.
"Oh hush up!"Katie told him, smacking him on the arm. It wasn't quite the hit that I had in mind but for now it would suffice.
"Here. Pass my your schedule and hers." Passing her our schedules she got a thoughtful look on her face.
"Ok A.P. English! You can do that! Just throw in a few fancy words, some good punctuation and some language features and you're all good to go at not getting a failing grade!" She told me, smiling fairly happily at her conclusion. I on the other hand did not know whether to be offended or not so I just kept my mouth closed.
"She's right you know. My friend Zachary took it last year. Said it was hard but only if you didn't put effort in. He's not the best at English but he did quite well in his exam and managed to get a good enough grade to get into Brown." Ty told us.
"Awesome! So we have A.P. English which you could switch into, and you guys already have A.P. French together, and you have the same gym class as well by the looks of things." Scanning the schedules Katie's eyes flittered from one page to the other before her eyes looked up.
