Vanessa's P.O.V.

I cannot believe this is happening to me. How on earth could they think I would be slightest bit ok with this? I mean did they think I could just drop everything and leave without people asking questions? I stood up from the sofa and didn't even think as the words left my lips. It was just thought after thought flying out of my mouth.

"Ok so let me get this straight. You want me to go back to school, but not even my actual school in England where, may I remind you, all of my friends attend, but go to an American school, for my senior year, where I will know absolutely no - one? Mom, Dad, how on earth could you expect me to be ok with that?" I ranted at them. I honestly loved my parents will all my heart, but right now I just could not understand what was going on. I turned to look at them both as they sat there opposite me.

My Dad is called Sebastian and He and I are the most alike, both of us having the same personality qualities, and me inheriting his green eyes, brunette hair and his naturally tanned skin. However I did look like my Mother as well. She is called Isabella. We both have the same facial structure and I inherited her brown eyes by having flecks of it in my own, and I also got the natural wave to my hair from her, but her hair was brown whereas mine was black.

"Oh sweetheart stop exaggerating, it's not like you won't know anybody there, you'll be attending the same school as Cameron and I'm sure he'll be more than happy to introduce you to a few of his friends." My mother said softly as I turned to look at her.

"But what about my tour and I've just started writing a new album and I'm shooting that music video in a few months," I explained "I mean you can't expect me to fit school hours into my schedule as well. I mean my life is just too busy right now, and I still don't even understand why I can't keep my tutor, it's not like I'm terrible at school, if anything I excel at it, I don't understand why you would feel the need to enrol me in school." I pouted.

At this my dad got up from where he sat opposite from me with my mother, sat down next to me and embraced me into one of his bear hugs and started saying "Vanessa it's not like that, we just feel like you should take some time off and actually enjoy your teenage years, you won't get to have them for very long my little princess."

I finally realised that they were just doing this to try and benefit me, but honestly I didn't see anything wrong with my life. I loved to perform for my fans and share my music with everyone, but I guess there were those times where it did get a bit lonely without a lot of friends to keep you company. I always had to be careful with the people I let into my life because they will either use you for your money, or sell whatever you tell that to the highest bidding gossip magazine. At that thought I decided I would try it out, but if I didn't like it then I could always return to my usual life.

"Fine, I'll go to school, but, if I don't like it, then I don't have to stay there is that ok?" I questioned.

My dad bent down and placed a kiss on my forehead and said "That's fine Princess."

After the realisation set in I did start to feel a bit happy but then I remembered my busy schedule. "But what about my tour?" I whined.

"Oh, honey you don't have to worry about that, you will have to do the remainder of your tour because your father and I both knew you wouldn't want to cancel, but after that we postponed your tour dates until after you've put out your new album because those tickets haven't gone on sale yet." My mom said in a soft voice.

"Ok then. So when will I be starting this school then?"

My dad responded "Well your tour still lasts for another few months, but after the next two weeks you get one week off, and the new school year doesn't start for another three weeks, so you'll have one week to rest up and get all of your things packed up from the tour bus and into the house, then you'll have to go shopping for some school books, and maybe some clothes because I'm sure all of your beautiful and sparkly dresses will stand out at your new school." At that comment we all laughed and I decided before I went to bed tonight that I would have to make a list of the things I needed.

"Alright, this actually sounds like fun now." I said with a mega - watt smile. Both of my parents laughed at me and made comments like 'Who would have thought school could make a teenager smile.' I laughed along with them until I decided I should head off to bed and get some sleep for my concert in Washington tomorrow. I kissed them both on the cheek and wished them both a goodnight, as they both wished me sweet dreams.

As soon as I got to my room I stripped off my dress, replaced them with my pyjamas and climbed into my bed and drifted off into a peaceful slumber but not before thinking I would definetly have to write that list up when I had the chance.

(this is my first update and I just wrote this up in about an hour just to give you guys a taste of how the story would go, I probably will re-write this chapter but for now i hope you enjoy it and if you have any suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments and if you want to suggest how you think that story should go by all means share your ideas.)
