"How did you come back?" Artemis asks.

"You should be dead, feel lucky that you are my son, or I'd kill you for what you did."

I looked at Zeus. "You are no father of mine. A father trusts his children, not tries to kill them. How could you let her order my death? Did I matter that little to you?" I asked.

He looked shocked and ashamed. "I know I was wrong but son," he started.

"No. I said Im not your son. I'm still Poseidon's son, with it, his powers as well. My domain over tides will be even stronger now. I'll be on your power level even without a seat on the council, which I don't want. I like my freedom, and not being bound by the Ancient Laws. But we have bigger problems to contend with," I say.

"Like what," my sister asks.

"Like the real prophecy. Kronos is coming back, and I have to face him. But we need to reset humanity. Back to the age where they worshipped us as the gods we are. Without it, we won't be powerful enough to stop him. I'm afraid he intends to release Typhon from his prison."

Apollo narrows his eyes. "What else are you hiding?" he asks.

I flinch, 'Damn, I didn't think anyone noticed.' "How did you know?"

He grinned, "Even after all these years, brother, I still know you."

I sigh, I should have known. "I need to marry in two years time. And I know where I need to look, but not who it is."

"What? How?" Apollo and Artemis ask at the same time.

"The Fates. They said I'd need to find my love in a daughter of the mind. And, there's only one who produces brain children, isn't that right, Athena?"

Said goddess glared at me. "No son of barnacle beard will be with a daughter of mine," she hissed.

My anger flashed, "You are just as stubborn and foolish now as you were then. No wonder most of your children have their fatal flaw as hubris! You need to learn to be respectful to others, especially to those who could easily make you fade, sister," I sneered.

A shout came from behind me, "Don't talk to my mother like that!"

The girl, Annabeth marched up to me. Despite being only five six to my now six even height, she acted as if I didn't scare her. "You are foolish, child. Despite knowing that if I could make your mother fade, meaning I could blink and you'd be gone, you still act as if I don't scare you."

"That's because you don't. I don't care if you're on the Big Three level even without a throne, you don't scare me. I could die at anytime, by a monster, by tripping on a blade, by anything. So no, you don't scare me," she fired back.

Wow, someone standing up to me. That was new, and I kinda liked it. I grinned, "I like that. It's good, refreshing even, to find someone who is willing to stand up to me." I turn my gaze to Artemis. "I believe there is a monster that you need to hunt. One that when sacrificed could end our reign."

She gasped, but nodded. "I'll send my Hunters here. Do you plan on staying, training these kids?" I nodded. "Watch over them then please. They won't be too happy, but maybe you can sway them with the help of an old friend."

I looked at her questioningly, but she just shook her head and asked Apollo to pick them up in his sun chariot. He nodded and they both flashed out.
