I got up and left her on the beach to think. I decided to flash to Olympus to find out if anything else was coming along in our plans. With the way we reverted the clock, we delayed Kronos' rising for at least a decade, but the cost!

They were all weak. Every last Olympian was weak and forced to stay on Olympus. So, now I was watching over the camp, incoming demigods, and also...I had to save my sister. I knew Zoë would want to go, but if she died, Artemis would never forgive me for letting her go.

Still, I couldn't do this alone. I had one advantage. I wasn't bound by the Ancient Laws. Apollo was except for healing people, Artemis had a bit more free reign, but me, I was completely free. I could interfere where ever, and whenever I wanted. Not that I really would, but I could help demigods which made their lives easier.

No one was in the throne room, and I really didn't feel like going from temple to temple, so I just gave up on the information that I wanted. It wasn't absolutely dire yet.

Before I could leave, someone flashed in. "You're planning on going to get her aren't you?"

Apollo. "If you could, wouldn't you?"

"I can, and we are...if you could spare some energy, I'd appreciative, little brother. "

I smirked. "Aww, isn't that just adorable. Who thought that the big bad Apollo would come to his little brother who's not an Olympian, to ask for a recharge?"

Apollo chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. Rub it in. But...just remember, I know your secret. It's a good thing dad and Poseidon are both your...dad's. That's just weird to think about. Hopefully that will help in convincing the rest of the council to approve. I mean, obviously Arty and I will, and dad and Poseidon, now you just need two more votes."

I frowned, 'How did he know already...oh yeah, god of prophecy or something like that. "Careful brother. I don't want anyone else to find out. I'm pretty sure Hera was not the only one not loyal to us up here. But I can never be sure on who it is. Just a feeling, it's different with gods rather than mortals." I beckoned him over and gave him a bit of a power boost.

"So, you're sure you can do this. Remember if you break an oath, your kids will pay for it, as will I. I will be weakened for a while."

He nodded, "I'm good. I just have to let them make the first move...after you of course."

I grin, "Then what are we waiting for? Lets go get back our sister!"

I grab him and flash out. We hit a barrier at the base of the hill. There could only be one explanation. They were getting strong enough to put in a barrier. The mountain was covered in Mist and mist, even for us gods it was hard to see.

When we finally broke through, we were greeted by four beautiful nymphs. The Hesperides. Guardian of the Apples of Immortality. 'I need one if she is to stay with me, just in case the council disagrees.' But that'd have to wait, Arty was more important right now. "Move aside, we need to have a friendly, chat, with your father."

"I think not young god. Ladon, wake!" They shouted.

I snarled, before swinging my arm, using my twilight powers to knock them aside like bowling pins. Ladon, the actual guardian of the tree itself was a hundred headed drakon who can spit poison, and he did not look at all happy to see us. "Run Apollo. Get up to the top. I'll hold him off, just don't look back."

Apollo hesitated, looking as if he wanted to argue, but I pushed him and he took off. Here goes nothing. I pulled out Riptide, the same sword Zoë gave to me all those millennia ago for saving her from Hercules.

I just had to buy Apollo enough time to get up the mountain, then I to, would run. I nearly made it. Nearly. Once Apollo was clear, I made a break for it, being fast, I thought I could, but that was not the case.

Ladon was fast, but I was faster. What I didn't expect was the number of heads he had. I knew he had a hundred heads, but still, when a head lashed down when I least expected, I couldn't elude it. He got a nip on me. Not a full bite, but the poison burned.

It didn't matter. The only thought on my mind was saving my sister and making sure my brother staid out of trouble.
