As we reached the restaurant I took Addys hand in mine. I wasn't a super huge fan of taxi rides but it was a few miles from her place to the restaurant so I was willing to do it. The car pulled up in front of the building and I jumped out and went around to help Addy. I opened the door and took her hand, she looked a bit surprised but I only noticed for a second before I took a deep long look in her beautiful shining green eyes. She really was beautiful, her red hair hit at her shoulders, it was tousled and that put together messy kind of thing. The dress she was wearing complimented her and I loved that she was wearing converse with it instead of heels. She was the cutest thing. I pulled her close to my hip and place my hand on hers as we entered the building.

As we walked through the doors I noticed a bunch of people I recognized but no one I was close with, I let my eyes scan the crowd looking for the tell tale blue floof above the crowd. I finally spotted Mark and pulled Addy along through the crowd. I reached them and we began giving hugs and saying our hellos. They lead us to a table and we all sat down. It was really loud and busy around us, and deep down I was wishing I was back in Addy's bedroom with her. I was really not looking forward to going back to Ireland. I mindlessly tightened my grip on her hand and she glanced up at me concerned. I shook my head at her and gave her a cheesy smile, I didn't want my uneasiness ruining this for her. We all ate our dinner and laughed and talked, telling Addy all kinds of stories from our past adventures and from the Con that day.

All in all it was a really great time.

Addy got up and excused herself to the ladies room. As she disappeared into the crowd Mark took her seat next to me and put his chin in his hands in a dorky sort of way like he was waiting for something.

"Well hello there Markie what can old Jack-a-boy help ya with?"

"I was just wondering how things are going?" He responded looking desperate for info. I knew what he meant but I figured I would string him along for the fun of it.

"Things are good, ya know convention was fun, food is good. Glad I came." He stared at me over his glasses.

"No you dummy! Addy!" He shouted. I laughed at his frustration.

"Well I really like her, I think she is great. Getting my lip busted up was definitely worth it." I replied unable to hide the smile playing at my lips.

"What are you going to do when you go home?" He looked worried now, and I understood why. My last long distance relationship didn't end well because we didn't spend enough time together.

"Well I know she doesn't want to be here, and she want's to be doing something different, she likes to make jewelry and stuff. So I thought about asking her to come with me, but I think I am going to wait. In a month or so I'll be coming to LA and I figure maybe she can join me for that and then I can ask her." I was anxious to get Marks opinion on my plan.

"I think that's a good idea. That way you guys have time to get your relationship off the ground and LA will be a trial run to make sure you are still feeling it. Plus she will get a better feel for things because Wade and Bob will be there with the girls." As he finished his sentence his eyes glanced up, he smiled and moved back to his seat. Addy came back and sat down.

"You didn't have to move Mark I know you need to be all up on Jack at all times. If what I have read is true I am going to have to take a back seat to your fiery romance!" She giggled as she sat down.

"NO!"
"YES!" Mark and I responded simultaneously. I punched him in the arm across the table.

"Oh come now Jack! Don't deny our love! I will fight Addy for your honor!"

"Bring it Markimoo!" The two of them were in stitches and I couldn't help but laugh along.

We had a few more drinks and some desert, and Felix headed out so he could get some rest before his flight. I ran out to grab a cab as Mark and Addy said goodbye to everyone. Luckily I flagged a guy down just as they emerged from the crowd.

"You are wonderful Addy, really. I see a lot of great things for you two." I heard Mark say as he wrapped Addy in a huge bear hug.

"Thanks Mark, that means a lot." She stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek. They walked toward me and we all piled in, we dropped Mark off at the Hyatt and headed for Addy's place.

As we walked into the building Addy put her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around hers. It made me smile just how naturally well fell into step with each other. We headed up to her apartment, and on exiting the elevator I noticed a man standing next to the door across from hers. He was wearing a hoodie with the hood up and jeans. When we were a door away he turned and headed for the elevator. I glanced down at her to see if she had noticed but her eyes were closed and she was letting me guide her. I shrugged it off. We reached her door and she finally opened her eyes and unlocked the apartment. We waltzed in together and she kicked off her shoes.

"Make yourself at home the bedroom is all yours." She said walking to the closet and pulling out a blanket and pillow and throwing them on the couch.

"No way Addy! I will take the couch!" I said. She laughed at me. I crossed my arms and stared at her trying to be stern.

"A few things, one you are my guest, guests don't sleep on the couch. Two you are about to get on a plane to take a very long trip back to Ireland and I am not letting your last good nights sleep be on a hard uncomfortable couch!" She said as she walked into the bedroom to pull some pajamas out. As she started out of the bedroom I grabbed her arm gently.

"Maybe this is moving to fast but I am going to throw it out there anyway. At least stay in here with me then?"

She stood on her toes and kissed me softly on the lips.

"I'd be happy to. I call the right side of the bed." She giggled and wandered off to change. I smiled and I went to change as well. I was really glad that it seemed like the more we spent time together the more she came out of her shell. This afternoon had me worried when she got all nervous around me again, but we had a really good connection and I think that made her feel comfortable.

When she returned she was wearing shorts and a tank top and my heart skipped several beats. She was incredibly pretty and now with glasses on and her hair pulled back I got to see a different side of her. I liked it a lot.

"Why are you staring?" She said snapping me back to reality.

"Sorry you just look pretty." I said I could feel a bit of blush on my cheeks.

"You don't look so bad yourself." She smiled almost wickedly as she made her way toward the bed and I realized I was only wearing sleep pants.

"Hope you don't mind. I don't usually wear shirts to bed." I replied. She smiled at me from under the blanket.

"I am certainly not complaining."

I crawled in next to her and she scooted closer laying her head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around her and sighed. This was wonderful.

"Good night Sean." I heard her mumble.

"Good night beautiful."
