Four hours. As my punishment for 'cheating' on my test I have to spend four hours in detention with Axel and Ryan. It has only been five minutes and I'm ready to go home, sleep, or punch someone. Possibly all three.

Mrs. Wilson sat at her desk, playing with her phone or anything she could find on her desk. I have been here before so I know that she will fall asleep in about ten minutes, so I just had to be good and quiet till then, then I can do whatever I want and just come back in three hours.

I sat at my desk with a book in my hand. The Hunger Games is my personal favorite and it's my fifth time reading it. Okay so I like reading and I get my homework done on time, it does not mean I'm a nerd.

I looked around the room, observing Axel, who typed away on his phone, and Ryan, who was trying to wiggle his pencil. Their both idiots but I'm kind stuck with them.

I have known Ryan ever since I was in grade school. He and I met when he stole my blue crayon when I was drawing a dolphin and made me cry. He said he was sorry, gave my crayon back, and hugged me. After that we became best friends and always did everything together.

Axel stopped texting on his phone when he realized I was staring at him. He had a smirk plastered across his face and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and continued reading my book.

Snore.

Snore.

More Snores.

I looked and saw, just as I predicted, Mrs. Wilson was out cold. I put my book away and stood up. I sling my bag over my shoulder and walked to the classroom door.

"Where are you going?" Ryan asked.

"Come on. She'll be out of at least an hour or two, might as well use this opportunity to leave." I said. Axel and Ryan looked at each other.

Axel shrugged and said okay, then grabbed his bag and followed me.

Axel and I were already out the door when we heard Ryan scream. "Hey! Wait for me!" I turned around and shushed him when he was put the door.

"Are you insane!? If you wake her, we are going to be stuck with even more detention!" I whispered/screamed at him.

"Sorry." He said sheepishly.

"Okay so where to, boss?" Axel said, breaking into the conversation.

"Well whenever I ditch detention I go to the ice cream shop on Main Street. It's close incase we have to get back quick, plus the ice cream is really good." I explained.

"Sounds good to me." Ryan said.

"As long as I'm not here, it's fine." Axel said. I scolded at Axel, but either he ignored it or didn't see me.

We walked out to the parking lot and started to walk along the side walk to the ice cream shop.

"What are you doing?" I heard a voice call out. I turned around and saw Ryan and Axel standing next to each other, still in front of the school.

"Walking to the ice cream shop?" I called back to them, then turned around and started walking again.

After a good three minutes I heard an engine get closer to me with every inch. I turned and stopped to see Axel on a pretty good looking Honda Rebel. What? I like motorcycles. I really wanted a motorcycle, but my mom said in too uncoordinated to ride one and I would break me or the bike if I ever ride one.

"Come on, I'll give you a ride." He said.

"It's only a ten minute walk." I said pointing in the direction of the ice cream shop.

"Well why walk for ten minutes when we can get there in two?" He said with a cocked eyebrow. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Come on. I know you want to." He said teasingly.

I did really want to ride it... It's like basically putting a treat in a dogs nose and telling him not he's not allowed to move. He held out a black helmet for me to wear. I gave him a look for a second or two. Then I sighed and took the helmet.

I strapped it in and got on. I rapped my arms around his torso. "You might want to hold on tight." He said, and started to drive. I was shocked by the sudden movement and grasped Axel's torso and shirt tighter. I could basically feel Axel smirk at me.

It felt good letting the wind flow through my long brown hair. It was so nice out today, the sound of birds could be heard and the wind passing my ears. I held on to Axel and laid my cheek on his back, just listening to the sound of him breathing and the movement of every breath.

"Um. Emily?" I opened my eyes and saw that we were stopped in the ice cream shop parking lot.

I looked at Axel, he was looking down at my hands, I too looked down and saw my hands. I quickly pulled them back, realizing they were still around his waist. I felt my face flush in embarrassment. I earned a chuckle from Axel.

Axel got off first then helped me off. A minute later Ryan pulls up next to Axel's bike in his blue Nissan. He got out and we all walked in together.

The cool air of the ice cream store hit me when I walked in. The sound of a bell rang above our ears, signaling they had costumers. We walked up to the ice cream and I mentally drooled at all of it.

I am not a very hard girl to please, just get me food and I will love you forever.

I stared deeply at the ice cream. So deeply, Ryan nudged me and I flinched at him. He wore a smile and said "What kind do you want?" I didn't even notice the worker standing there with annoyed expression across her face.

"Oh, sorry. I'll have a Superman in a cup please." I said with a hungry smile.

"I'll take a Cookies n' Cream in a cone." Ryan said.

"Vanilla with a cone." Axel said sternly. The lady gave him a look but he just chose to ignore it. I guess he had a tendency to do that.

She then finished up and gave us our ice cream. "That will be $6.18" she said, opening the cash register.

Ryan pulled out his wallet, but I put my hand on his. "You don't need to, I have money." I said pulling out a couple dollar bills. He shook his head. "No it's fine, really."

I smiled him and thanked him. Ryan payed and we all sat at a table to eat our ice cream. I sat in the middle of Ryan (on my left) and Axel (on my right).

We are in silence for a while before I decided to speak up. "So Axel, I was thinking that we could do some step- sibling bonding over the weekend. If your okay with it?"

"Sure. Sounds like fun." He said, with seemed like fake enthusiasm. I shot him a puzzled look.

"Wait. Step- siblings?" Ryan said, joining in.

Axel let out a groan. "I feel like this is the hundredth time someone has asked that." He said to me, then had his attention to Ryan. "Yes. Step- siblings. Her Dad and My Mom are most likely going to get married. Thus us being step- sister and step- brother."

"Oh. So you two aren't dating?" Ryan bursted out. Both me and Axel grew wide eye.

"What?" Axel said, shocked by his statement. I almost choked on my ice cream.

"No, no. We are just step- siblings. Nothing more." I said answering for the both of us.

"Oh okay, you two have just been hanging around each other for a while, I thought I missed something." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well, you didn't. When we start dating I send you a pigeon with a note tied around its ankle saying we are dating." I said sarcastically.

"Hey, you never know. It could happen. I think we would make a cute couple." He said wrapping his arm on my chair and flashing me a wink.

"Pshhh. You and me. Yea right." I said rolling my eyes and crossing my arms over my chest.
