I walked back from the rest room and stared around the window of the front entrance. I began to grow weary of this place.

It has been six days since Emily was attacked, I kept count, but I had to check my phone every now and again to see the date and the day of the week.

My phone read Saturday.

I let out a sigh and looked back out the window. This was torture in its own making.

"Mr and Mrs James?" Someone called and my head shot up.

The nurse walked in and called Emily's father's and mother's name. He let go of my mother's hand and walked with her mother up to the nurse. She looked very tired, dark bags dripping under her eyes. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I think it was good news because the nurse wore a tired smile.

"Oh my god! Thank you, thank you so much!" Emily's mother exclaimed. Emily's parents hugged tightly, both tearing up and wearing smiles.

They walked over to us, each wearing a smile of their own. "Emily, is going to be okay. We are allowed to see her now." They explained.

I let out a happy sigh and jumped out of my chair, not even caring I was basically running through the halls. I ran down the hallway, dodging everything that threatened to block my way. I looked at the room numbers as they flew past me.

154... 155... 156... 157... 158!

I stopped in front of her room and found a person under the blankets on the hospital bed. I quietly opened the door and walked in. Closing the door, I made my way to the body.

Memories flew past me of times I spent with Emily. All of the good times and the bad. It's amazing so much has happened in such a short time.

Her body turned towards me and I froze. This is not Emily.

Originally where Emily laid, now laid an old man who had tiny grey hairs sticking out of his head. I found myself walking out of the room and freaking out inside my head.

"Where is she?!" I screamed. I caught everyone's attention, every doctor, nurse, patient, and family or friends that happen to be near me.

"Axel!" A female voice screamed. My head shot up at my mother. She stood fern and tall. "They moved her to a different room, we were going to take you there but you ran to fast for us to tell where they took her." She explained.

I calmed down a bit. "Where is she? Please. I need to see her." I cried in a whisper. My mother rapped her arms around me, trying to comfort me as I broke down.

"Come on, everyone else is already there." She said letting go and turning to walk away. I walked too, following my mom to see the love of my life.

Finally we reached a new hospital room. 103, I have to remember that for next time. I walked into the hospital room and sat down in a chair next to a sleeping Emily.

Everyone hung out for a while. Second turned into Minutes, Minutes turned into Hours. She still didn't wake up, the only sound that could be heard through out the room was the machine attached to Emily's heart beat and breathing.

Everyone returned to the waiting room, but I stayed. I promised I would get them when she woke up. But for now I just sat in the chair and watched her. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was soft and steady. I chuckled to myself as I remembered that Emily would sometimes snore softly in her sleep. It wasn't the gross kind of snoring you usually would expect, it was soft and gentle.
