"Winter?" The voice called behind him.

Turn away. His mind screamed at him. Against his will, Winter spun around, greeted by a certain NightWing.

Moon's eyes brimmed with happiness. Winter's face was emotionless, but his head and heart having a war inside him.

"Winter," Moon said softly, edging closer to him. "Why did you leave?"

Winter flinched back as the memories came crashing over him.

"Hey," Moon said worriedly, touching his wing with hers. "Are you okay?"

Winter looked into her eyes and felt the pain all over again, piercing his heart. Just when I got closer to her, I had to loose her. Winter glanced at her again and shook his wings, composing himself.

"Don't touch me." Winter replied coldly. He winced at the hurt look on Moon's jade eyes. I'm sorry Moon.

•••••••Time Lapse••••••••

Winter sat, gazing at the star-filled sky. Suddenly a deep voice sounded in his head.

Daughter of two moon nights,

Shall be one of two to rewrite.

Descendant of cold pure ice,
Will sacrifice.

Together they shall rise,
learning along the way,
Or they will pay a deadly price.

Winter waited for the last verse, but it never came. Where's the last part? He pondered over that for a while.

"I figured it out," Winter whispered. "The first part is Moon, and with me we have to rewrite something."

Wait. Does that mean that if I don't forgive her, then something bad will happen? I should forgive her. It wasn't her fault. Winter sighed as the that line repeated over and over again. He growled in frustration and jumped up when he heard someone behind him.

"Moon?" Winter said, confused and irritated.

"I know you told me to go away," Moon said softly. "But I heard you growling, are you okay?"

Winter stood up to his full height. "Of course I'm okay," Winter glanced at Moons's expression and sighed. "You're not giving up, are you?"

Winter watched as Moon's face lit up, her beautiful eyes glowing. "Nope."

"It's the prophecy," Winter finally confessed.

"What about it?" She asked.

"I figured most of it out." Winter replied.

"Well," Moon said thoughtfully. "The first part is obviously about me, and the second dragon has to be you. The part that I don't get the sacrifice part."

"I don't want to talk about it right now." Winter said nervously.

"How about we talk about this in the morning with the rest of us?" Moon suggested.

Winter nodded in agreement. "Moon," he suddenly said. "How did you get rid of the amnesia?"

"Oh," Moon replied, surprised. "It was weird. I was with Kinkajou and Qibli taking a walk in the forest while they tried to revive my memories. Suddenly I had this weird flashback I think. That's a I remember."

Winter looked at the NightWing in shock. "When did it happen?"

"Well," Moon said thoughtfully. "It was probably around sunhigh."

Winter gaped at her, no words coming out of his mouth. "H-h-h-how?"

"How what?" Moon questioned.

"I had a flashback around that time too." Winter stammered out.

"Well, I guess it was more of a coincidence huh?"

"I-I—" Winter was caught of guard as he was pushed forward. Who did that? Winter growled, enraged. That anger faded away as he felt something against his snout. What? Winter glanced over to Moon, only seeing her eyes wide open full of alarm and surprise. The most shocking thing was, her snout against his.

Winter glanced at Moon and saw that her jade eyes were slowly closing. How is she enjoying this? His mind shouted. You're loving this. It's your dream come true! His heart shouted back. Ugh! Winter ignored the two irritating voices and closed his eyes, enjoying the moment.

"Yes! My plan worked!" A familiar voice whisper yelled.

"I helped too!" A voice yelled back.

Short update, but I hope you guys liked it! I slept over 11 all this week, homework should be illegal. Anywho, there will NOT BE AN UPDATE NEXT WEEK!!!
