"So— Hot— Can't fly— Any— Further—" Kinkajou gasped as they flew across the sandy desert with the afternoon sun beating in their backs.

"It's only been a few minutes," Winter said. "Though it is pretty hot out here. Why didn't we take the tunnel again?"

Moon sighed. "You were the one who decided that we don't."

Qibli looked at them with surprise written across his face. "It's hot?"

Winter mentally face palmed. Ya think?

"Yup," Winter started with sarcasm coating every word. "We're all sweating at zero degrees. OF COURSE IT'S HOT YOU NITWIT!"

"I think we should rest," Moon called out from the front. "It's only going to get hotter, and I don't think Kinkajou can make it."

They all spiraled down, landing on the burning sand.

"Ouch!" Winter yelped as his talons made contact with the sand. "This day can't get any better huh?"

No reply. Just crickets in the background. Not.

"Winter!"

Winter turned to Moon who was looking at something intently and said irritated, "What are you looking at?"

Moon pulled Winter down with her wing at pointed a claw in the distance. The IceWing pinpointed where she pointed to, and was mindblown. Is that, a cave? In the desert? That can't be.

"Lets go in!" Kinkajou suggested excitedly. "I'm going to burn to death out here! Wait, where is the cave? I can't see it."

"I can't either." Qibli frowned.

"I'll lead you there," Moon suggested.

Kinkajou nodded eagerly. "I want to go inside."

They flew towards the looming cave, the sand beneath them. The cave wasn't that big. Only able to fit one dragon at a time.

"I'll shall go first." Winter declared. "Any objections? No? Okay." Winter strutted toward the entrance and walked in, a wave of black crashing over him.

"Moon!" Winter called. "I need some light in here!'

Winter heard a loud bang and a thud. He whipped around and saw the RainWing sprawled on the floor right in front of the entrance groaning.

What happened?

"Winter," Moon called from the outside. "We have a problem. Qibli and Kinkajou can't go in."

Winter was confused. "What do you mean?" (I can see the comments now.)  

"There's something like an invisible barrier so they can't go in."

"You guys should go," Qibli interrupted, then wiggled his eyebrows knowingly. "Moon can go through, right? It's probably because of the prophecy."

"What are we waiting for then?" Moon asked. "Lets go Winter!"

The duo headed down the tunnel, Moon lighting up the way with her fire.

"Welcome," a voice echoed throughout the dank cave. "I have been waiting for you."
