I deleted the other chapter 18 because it sucked. This is a redo of it.

Winter looked at the awakened NightWing and collapsed onto the wooden floor beneath him, his white wings shaking uncontrollably. No, no, no! This cannot be happening. Silent tears soon started dripping from his closed eyes, one by one, making wet trails on his snout before hitting the ground. I thought that I've been hurt before. But, I was wrong. Losing Hailstorm didn't hurt as much. Why does this, a NightWing, hurt me more? Her three words, cut deeper into my heart than a claw could ever do. Why Moon? Why do you cause me so much pain?

Winter felt something brush his wing, making him lift his head. His eyes met a pair of jade ones that were filled with confusion, but mostly concern and worry. Why! His mind wailed.

"Don't touch me." Winter growled at her, making her flinch away, her eyes filled with fear.

I'm sorry Moon, but I can't bear seeing you like this. You changed me, and now it comes to this. Winter tore his ice blue eyes from Moon's turquoise ones, his eyes filling with tears once again.

Winter took off, blinking his wet eyes. Noticing Kinkajou and Qibli nearby, he took the scroll from his bag and tossed it down at them. That should warn them about Queen Glacier.

Winter flew heartlessly, his wings beating feebly, as if they will break off any second. He soon found a cave, knowing he can't fly any further.

Winter found a clear puddle, and looked into it, seeing his reflection staring back at him. His eyes were red and he looked like he hadn't slept for days.

I shall never love again, it only leaves you sore to the bone. I feel like my heart has been used against itself. Winter stumbled over to the cave, sleep crashing over him like a black wave.

Winter was drowning, the dark surrounding him, choking him. He saw a light in the distance, filling up the murky darkness. He swam toward it only to feel his soft underbelly ripped open. He hissed in agony, the pain blinding his vision. He saw a blurry black figure, with familiar tear drop scales. She watched Winter bleed, the water turning dark blue around him. He watched as the NightWing stared at him gasping for breath. Winter swallowed a mouthful of water, deprived of oxygen. He closed his eyes as his throat started to close up.

Winter bolted up from his sleeping position and started gasping for breath. It was only a dream. Winter took deep breaths, trying to calm down. Then why did it feel so real? He looked around and saw a dark blood pooling at his feet.

I don't know, but I think this is my best chapter, or my worst chapter. Short and early update. I didn't get the feels since I wrote this. But I know it's different for you readers.
