"Warning. Wound isn't healed. Be cautious."

Daniel hit the floor, rolling backwards as a sonic grenade detonated in front of him. In front of him were three men in black ArcheTECHT shock guard uniforms, holding black staves that were surging with yellow electricity.
Warning. hairline fracture detected in the pelvis. Dispensing painkillers.
"You shouldn't have come down here, boy," one sneered, his black mask proving his unmoved position of power. He
"Leave now," another announced, smacking the tiled floor with his staff, marking the ground at the impact point.
"What are you here for?" the final one asked, pointing to the ground for enhanced effect.
Daniel rose to his feet, breathing heavily as the taste of copper entered his mouth. He eyed the three men, face mask sliding back into his chest piece so he could spit a glob of blood on the floor.
"I'm trying to find antibiotics for my injured friend," he said, wiping the sweat beading down his brow.
"A likely fucking story," one of them said, smashing the tip of his electrified staff into Daniel's chest, driving him into the wall. "You aren't here for the Doctor, are you?"
Daniel eyed the man that was pinning him against the wall with the staff, gritting his teeth and balling his fists. His legs dangled in the air as his nose crumpled up in disgust.
"You are human," he said, hands glowing white as they grasped on to the staff. "You shouldn't be fighting for a cause you know nothing about."
The three men laughed, the staff starting to dig into Daniel's chest.
"We know about our director's ancestral heritage," one of them said, pointing his staff at Daniel's face.
"He will give us infinite power if we succeed in helping him," another said, pointing his staff at Daniel's face.
Daniel's hands glowed brighter as he tried to push the staff away from him. The man pinning him to the wall added more pressure, enough to stop Daniel's hands from glowing and enough to make them slap into his sides, dangling in the air at the whim of the slight draft.
Warning. Fractured ribs detected. Dispensing pain killers. See a medic immediately.
"Now, Knight," the one pinning Daniel to the wall said, "you want to help us give that wall a new coat of red paint?"
POP!
Time seemed to slow as a bullet pierce the right man's head, sending blood and brain matter flying through the air. The man with the staff against Daniel turned his head as another bullet pierced his forward, his body falling backwards on the ground. The final man reached for a firearm in his holster, only being met with a final bullet flying through his skull, his head detonating like a party popper.
Daniel dropped onto his hands and knees, gasping for air. Blood was dripping from his opened mouth. The pain in his chest was almost too much to bare. Even the slightest of breathing hurt.
"Danny?" a voice said.
A warmth blanketed over him as he looked up, seeing Kaitlyn, back on her feet and in Franz's KOTEGH armor. Her face mask slid back into her chest piece.
"Kaitlyn?" he asked, a bead of sweat sliding off of his face and hitting the floor.
Before he could say anything more, she hugged him, and hugged him tight.
Warning. Pressure on broken ribs. Advise immediate care.
The blanket of warmth only grew warmer, and also started... glowing. Daniel's whole body started to glow white and bright, his form lifting off of the ground and landing on the ground... on his feet.
Kaitlyn gave him a look. She gave him the look of I couldn't give anymore of a shit, really.
Warning! Daniel's suit rang, vibrating madly. No injuries detected.
Kaitlyn's face changed. Now it was the look of holy shit what the fuck just happened?!
