I woke up the next morning to someone blowing in my ear.

"Rise and shine sunshine! Get up! We got work to do!" yelled Great-Grandma Alice in my ear. I shot out of bed and fell on the floor. Thank goodness that I had reflexes otherwise my nose will be red jelly by now! I stood up and sat at the edge of my bed rubbing my sore ear only to be pushed off and hurt of poor bottom. Great! Now I have a broken ear drum and red bottom! Thanks Great-Grandma Alice! Thank you so much!

"Come on sleep-head! You go to train for your quest!" Great-Grandma Alice told me before exiting the room and shutting the door so I could change. I quickly pull on long blue skinny jeans, put on a white tank top and throw a brown leather jacket on top of the tank top. I slip into a pair of flat leather knee-high boots and jog into the kitchen. I sat down at the table and gobbled some bacon and gulped down some orange juice. From the corner of my eye I saw Yedana, Tom and Great-Grandma Alice watching me amused.

"Come on. It's time for training." Great-Grandma Alice announced once we all we're done. We followed her into a room inside the cave that looked like a built in arena.

"Stand on this line." instructed Great-Grandma Alice drawing a black line with just a point of her finger. I guess she still had her Dite powers. We stood on the line just like she told us too. She examined us carefully like we were a specimen that she was observing.

"Tom, you will learn swords play. Yedana, you will train with the bow and arrow. And Cynthia.... you will learn every kind of weaponry." Great-Grandma Alice said finally. Yedana and Tom cheered excitedly while I pouted unhappily.

"Why do I have to learn everything?!" I whined.

"Because you're a Dite. You have to learn how to use every type of weaponry." answered Great-Grandma Alice calmly.

"Tom you will train first, then Yedana and then Cynthia. You girls can sit on the bleachers and watch." Great-Grandma Alice told us. Me and Yedana sat on the bleachers and watched Tom. First, Great-Grandma Alice helped Tom find the sword just right for him. At last after going through many swords Tom finally found the right one. The sword had a silver blade and gold handle. In the middle of the blade were three jewels: A ruby, a diamond, and a sapphire. He named the sword Companion because he told us that the three jewels in the middle reminded him of our friendship. I watched as Tom learned swords play. To tell the truth he picked up really quickly. He was a natural. If you saw him you'd think that he's been learning swords play for years!Great-Grandma Alice spent a good hour or two with Tom before rapping it up. By the end of class he learned everything he needed to know about swords play. Next was Yedana's turn. Great-Grandma Alice gave her a sliver bow and some silver arrows and told her to shoot the targets that Great-Grandma Alice set in front of her. Yedana hit the bulls-eye for all of them except two. Great-Grandma Alice taught her everything she needed to know to be an excellent archer. Great-Grandma Alice also spent a good hour or two with Yedana too. At the end of her training she was an epic archer! She didn't even miss a single shot! Lastly, it was my turn. I skipped down the bleachers into the arena.

"What am I going to learn first?" I ask curiously.

"Daggers." answer Great-Grandma Alice simply.

"Why can't I learn Dite powers?" I ask.

"You can't learn Dite powers. Your Dite powers comes to you when it's time. And when they come to you from then on you can use them at your own will." explained Great-Grandma Alice.

"Come on, enough chit chat. Hold the dagger like this." she began showing me how to hold before handing it to me and I mimicked her hold. From then on I learned all different weapons and only stopped for lunch. By the end of the day I learned how to use spears, guns, bows and arrows, swords, knifes, daggers and so many more weapons.
