Raider saw that I won’t give him what he wants so he came up with a terrible plan. With a rise of his stick he made the black globes Yedana and Tom were in rise.

“You know, the people of this temple made human sacrifices to their gods. They usually take the person’s heart out and raised it to the sun.” Raider told me inspecting Yedana and Tom peculiarly.

“But the moon will work too.” Raider told me smiling as a bright moon shone above us. Then it all clicked. I was filled with mixed emotions-fear, anger, an urgency to protect my friends from being human sacrifice for whatever foolish god this mad man in front of me worshiped. My glowing amulet began to glow brighter than ever and soon I was surrounded by the brightest blue light ever. I began to transform. My whole face morphed into a different shape. My body cracked and twisted and transformed. My arms and legs began to morph and my finger tips became razor sharp claws. White and black fur began to grow on top of my clothes and body and before you know it I was standing on all four, ready to tear Raider apart limb to limb. I could hear, see, smell and taste better than I ever had. I could feel that my instincts were also better than before. I then realized that I have just done what I failed to do before. My urgency to protect my friends has kicked in to bring out the tiger in me. Yes, I have shifted into a white tiger. But my shock soon settled down when I saw my friends trapped again. My anger returned and tore at Raider. I lunged for him and knocked him to the ground. I slammed him down so hard that the globe on his magic staff broke. The magic that kept Tom and Yedana captured instantly stopped and they were set free. My anger still didn’t fade. The thought of my dear Great-Grandma Alice’s spirit in chains set me off. I fought Raider, scaring and tearing at his body while he failingly tried to keep me at bay. He was scared. No matter how white his face was normally I could tell. My tiger could smell his fear. I trapped him underneath me and was about to kill him when I stopped. ‘If I kill him then I would never be able to find Alice. He’s the only that knows where.’ So I decided to find Alice and then kill him. Trust me, I watched plenty of TV shows to know that if you let your enemy go because they helped you they will come back to get you.  So I got off him. And as I did my leg accidentally hit him, sending him toppling over. And to my luck, He was at the very edge of the platform we were standing on and he began rolling downhill with his broken magic stick that he was trying to use against me. Today is totally not my day. I shifted back as Tom and Yedana ran towards me. Then, I remembered all the werewolf books I read and how the werewolf when he shifts back is pure naked. I look slowly and sacredly down at my body to find that I was…fully clothed? Yes! I was fully clothed with the clothes I had on before I miraculously shifted! I let out a big sigh of relief.

“Do you think he lived through the fall?” asked Yedana, doubtfully looking downward.

“Who knows, the guys a lunatic.” said Tom in a know-it-all voice. Yedana gave him a annoyed look.

“He probably did survive. I mean I thought I was the only one that could do magic and here is this dude that is doing hocus pocus with a stick!” I answered incredulously.

“No, you’re the only one that can do magic without any help of specific tools.” answered Yedana with a thoughtful look on her face. She slowly picks up the first spear of the Sacred Moon. “We must go to a library. I can do some research on this Raider guy.” she said handing me the spear that I tucked carefully into my bag.

“Ugg, do we have too?” asked Tom in a kid voice. We just ignored him.

“Where do you reckon we should go?” I asked.

“To the Library of the Great Spirits.” answered Yedana.
